this company has the most ignorant people working for them, they are trying to collect a debt from me,thats over 6years old, that i assumed was reported under a bankruptcy back in 2004,however i imagine that it wasn't,anyway,THEY offered me a payoff of 50% off the amount, and i could pay it back in payments of $100.00 per month for 12 months, i agreed since i am also fighting a foreclosure now and trying to save my home due my business going under, after agreeing ,the guy i spoke to,tells me he needs to get approval from his supervisor, next thing i know, some idiot gets on the phone, starts harrassing me and telling me "either you pay it today in full" and if not we'll sue you, obviously i know a dell account isn't a secured debt, and they can't do s**t to me,but now they keep calling harrassing me at my job, this company are full of a**holes, and now they won't get squat from me!! so beware!!
760-735-8531 called today and answered with my name in the form of a question like she knew me. Was very friendly but awkward. I knew something wasn't right. Wanted to know about a Bank of America card I supposedly have and asked if I was still at a certain address which was incorrect. Wouldn't tell me what the call was about other than it was for this card. Asked for the last four of my social since I said I didn't have the card and she said "well it is an old card and this is from last year." This makes no sense. I gave her a fake address and told her to send a letter stating her purpose and I would call back because the alarm bells were going off in my head. Looked up number to find it is from a landline in Escondido California from an Elizabeth Giles and this is a home address. Totally a scam.
This person or company continues to call a cell phone number which is currently in Europe. Please stop calling. We have a do not call on all of our cell phones and the next step will be to report you.
Got a call from these pus-bags two days ago with a rude voice-mail message deliberately garbled to sound more like “IRS“ than “ARS“. (Real IRS employees never identify the agency by it’s initials) We don’t owe these filth a dime. They were looking for someone we know, but who never lived here. If they think we would ever rat out anyone to their breed of slimy night-crawlers, they are even dumber than they sound- and that boggles the mind! Our number is unlisted, so they obviously got it by pretexting or some other type of illegal phishing scam. Apparently, “Elizabeth Giles” is one of several aliases used by this Bill-b***h, “Ms. Martinez” being another. As most of us are aware, debt collectors are like porn stars- they always go by fake names when they are making money by indiscriminately screwing as many strangers as they can in a single day, but at least the porn actors have the guts to look those they screw in the face. These lowlifes really need to grow a soul and get a real job. Can’t help them with the soul and I would gladly dig my own ditches before I would ever hire their kind, so I will settle for blocking their number, filing complaints with the FTC and letting the person they are looking for know that they should do the same.(Yo, "Liz", ya tipped your hand!) I counted at least 3 violations of federal law related to that one call, and no one was even there to pick up the phone.
Got a call from 760-735-8531. Caller ID said A R S National Svcs. They asked for a different name than mine, but then corrected it to give my first and last name. I detected they were up to no good after that and hung up. Then they called me from 623-455-6627 and the same voice said "Do you always run away from your problems?" I hung up and they tried again a couple times but I did not answer.
Asked for a Mr. Thomas and I said in a nasty tone that there was no Mr. Thomas here and not to call here again. Let's see if that works. If not, I have other tricks up my sleeve.
Received a call from this number, caller -- first name ID only -- said they were calling about my Sears card. I said I didn't have one. They said I'd had one recently. I said that was false and hung up. They called back immediately, identifying me by birthdate [they were off by 11 years] and social security number [entirely mistaken]. I hung up again.
Received a call from this number this morning. Don't know anyone from this area code. Found this website from a friend at work! Glad to know its probably a scam!
This is all of this company's info. If you call their offices directly and tell them you're reporting their company for harassment they will stop calling.972 High StreetP.O. Box 3590Jackson, MS. 39202PHONE: 800.254.5211PHONE: 601.355.5211FAX: 601.969.2997
ARS Collection services. They are very harsh and violate the rules governing the collection companies. I sent them a no contact letter and asked that they not call anymore. I played stupid until the guy started yelling at me, calling me a bum etc. So I just told him that he was in violation of the fair credit reporting act and that this call was also being recorded. This violation warrants a suit in small claims court for the amount of 1,000 per violation. He hung up quickly and has never called again.
A man called me asking my husband's cell phone. He refused to tell the reason why he called.
they called me while i was in school. no idea who it can be.
It called my cell and I called it back but got a message saying it was not a working number.
The call was to my cell phone. I missed the call and they didn't leave a message so I looked the number up on anywho.com and it came up with Elizabeth Giles.
Got a call asking for ? (couldn't really understand the caller). I said they had a wrong number. The caller repeated the name (still unclear). I said there is no one here by that name. The caller asked do you know anyone by that name? I answered no - caller said goodby.
so is this supposed to be a legit thing or is it a phishing scam??just the number showed up on my cell....it's some guy named peter and he gives some kind of number i'm supposed to refer to......he also calls my home number
They called me looking for my ex-husband of 14 years! I gave them his current info home # and address and wished them luck since he has no job and is sooo far behind on child support that he'll never catch up!
