I keep getting strange phone calls and voicemails for a person named Eric, I am not Eric, and neither is anyone in my family. I tried to call back to politely let them know they had the wrong number, and the person over the phone screamed at me ans is now harassing me with phone calls even though I blocked the number.

Who's this?

Terry I already have United Healthcare and didn't fill out an AARP application and got the same call. I think this number is a scam. Look up UHC number online and call them directly. Beware!

Bel Received 3 calls in 3 days, but when I answer there is just a beep and then it disconnects. Called back and it's a recorded message from a healthcare provider saying the number no longer exists. Not sure how this is a scam, but it seems very odd.

This number is United Healthcare. I am supposing that it does use automated dialing. However, I called the number back and it made sense to me that it was UH because I recently enrolled in one of its medicare plans. I suggested to the person to whom I spoke that UH should probably stop using automated dialers since there are a bunch of people on these various number reporting websites who are hopping mad about receiving calls and then just getting dead air or muzak when they pick up the phone. I don't believe that UH has any say as to whether its number comes through with its name on any given phone company's caller ID, so it probably doesn't have any way of controlling that aspect of these calls.

I was sent an e-mail saying my debit card would be charged for an order from this company. I tried to call this # that is on their website but it is out of service. I din't order anything from this company and had never heard of them.
