You are not alone. They've been doing the same to me telling me that I owe $3000 when I don't even own a credit card. Nationwide is on your side my****.

I have been geting some calls from these a**holes.  They keep looking for soem one else and I keep telling them to stop calling, but they don't.  I guess I am gooing to have to file a Federal Suit for violation of the Telephone Consumer Protections Act ("TCPA").  It is a $500.00 vioaltion each occurance and can be doubled if you can prove other elements of the act.  It could be a money maker for soiem people, if they can handle a court action, which by the way is not that hard or complicated.

They are persistent. In my case they represent Chase Bank. They buy up old debt for pennies on the dollar then they endlessly hound you for payments. They even called a neighbor 4 doors down from me to verify my address. The neighbor did not return the call. Nationwide credit must pay their people a commission on money collected because they will do anything to get you to pay.

I just want the annoying phone calls to stop. I don't know who this is calling. They never leave a message.

Well they have left me messages 3 times this week without identifying themselves, and want me to call back a completely different number 916-523-1347, which sear****g for only tells me it is in Sacramentom, CA.  If it is Nationwide Credit in Georgia why is the return call number in California, it sounds shady to me. Nevermind that even if it is a collection agency and i owed someone money I wouldn't return a long distance call.

Calling everyday at all hours called mother in law and ***her in law alsohave not spoke with anyone but do not have any business with this company

They are calling my mbl. no. and I am not even the person they're calling for. I refuse to call them back and don't want them harassing me. If it is Amex I don't even have  an account with them.

This company has been calling my cell number which is unlisted and is on the do not call list.  They will not say what they are calling about when they call you and want the last four of my SSN, birthday and address...I don't tell them anything, I don't know who they are and what they want.  They say they are required by federal law to get the above information to ensure they are talking to me. That's funny they have my cell number and my guess is there's a name attached to it.  I finally got a letter from them and they represent American Express, ggod job American Express. AE not only did you cancel my credit card for which I was NEVER late but you have a collection agency who ****s and doesn't even know the law.  AE you stink.  Don't talk to these guys at 1 770 612 7203 and if you do call, use their free number and don't waste your nickle, it is 1 866 381  5531.

Received a call from this company. I asked what it was for and she said she would need to verify last 4 of social and birthday before she could tell me. I told here I would need to check out her company and call her back before verfying anything. She then s****ed arguing with me and ended up in a screaming match with me because I wouldn't give out my info without calling back. Horrible, unprofessional people. Beware of Nationwide Credit.

A man has been calling and leaving a message while we are gone. I answered today and the same man wanted me to verify my SS number, my adddress, etc., I told him I would not verify anything and not to call back. We are on the National Do Not call list........a lot of good it does. Don't give them any information; one never knows who you are speaking with.

This guys will harrass you and those around you until they get what they want.. Call American Express and settle the issue yourself. These guys are unprofessional low-lifes.. They will talk down upon you and attempt to make you feel like the s*** of the earth.BE AWARE

I HAVE BEEN GETTING A LOT OF THE UNK NUMBERS CALLING MY CELL PHONE...HOW ARE THEY GETTING OUR CELL NUMBER? i HAVE NO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY BUT THEY ARE CALLING AND SAYING NOTHING. I ADVISED NO ONE ANSWER AN UNKONWN NUMBER BECAUSE THIS IS HOW THE SALE REPS CHECK IF ITS A WORKING NUMBER AND THE HARASSMENT WILL NOT STOP BUT WORSEN.
