I am not sure who everyone here talked to, but the lady that was on the other end of the line offered me a BJ for $20. I told her to stop calling and ***g up.

They won't stop calling

If you dont wan to be called just call then give them your number and they will not call you anymore if its the wrong number.  They are debt collectors they dont want to waste their time calling you if you are not the person they are looking for.

You are absolutely right. This is a debt collector and they never leave a message, they just keep calling. I wonder if, w***ver is paying them to collect this debt, they know that Nationwide just reports that they dialed a number and that's it. Maybe Nationwide needs to be reported to the BBB. Oh, that's right,we just found out that the BBB is crooked,too! What's a person to do!!!!

Multiple phone calls. Caller ID only shows Nationwide. I thought it was the insurance company and was going to advise them that I my number is on the DNC list. But, from what I have read here, I now understand that it is Nationwide Credit and not the insurance company. I have answered their call each time, only to be ***g up on without a word from this caller. I won't be picking up any more and have blocked this number from calling. A word of advice about call blocking: my AT&T service won't allow blocking of 800 numbers, so it's a pretty worthless add-on service. However, my Panasonic cordless phone system does allow blocking of 30 numbers and will block 800 numbers from calling too. Blocked callers get a busy signal when they call. It's made the home much more quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended - get one if you can! (I do not work for Panasonic; I just couldn't find another phone system, whether V-Tech, Uniden, AT&T, etc, which would block 800 numbers and/or block this many phone numbers.)

this company has called my cell number has the right name but wrong address. I do not no any one from Gerogia.

Calling a business line

calls several times a day, everyday, have no ideal who it is or from, it is an electronic message, saying they are calling to verify location.

calls me at least twice a day on my cell phone. whenever i answer they **** up whenever i call they **** up.

Calls every evening around 4:00pm Here in Indiana. I answer they **** up. Over and over for about 20 minutes

Calls but don't leave message. When I do answer they don't speak and **** up, why call then???!! So****ing needs to be done.

It's Nationwide Credit most likely trying to collect on a bogus debt from DirecTV. They try to bill you for service that you never received and for the equipment that they won't take back.

Called but never actually left a message and if we answered - none would speak up on the other line They called constantly, annoying!

This number calls 12 times a day and never leaves a message s****s at 8am and stops at 1130pm.when answer there is dead siliance on the other end

Caller ID shows Nationwide. No one on the other end, then line disconnects.. 2 to 3 calls a day.  The number is close to the fax number of the Strayer University, Ga. Maybe a student is trying to fraud this school or has a connection on their phone lines.

I called them back today and the guy said it was nationwide credit company. When I asked what they did he simply stated that it was a business phone. He wanted my name...I gave him first only...then he wanted my phone number so that he could look up my "record". I gave it to him and then he wanted my last name. Said he couldn't pull up my record with just my number.Google returned this on Nationwide Credit http://www.ftc.gov/opa/1998/10/nationwide.shtm

Someone just called me from this number and left no message on my voicemail. Does anyone know who this is?

Constantley calls and asks for someone who doesn't live here.The person is very rude and ****s the phone up when asked who and what they want.I have told them this is my phone and house but it doesn't seem to matter to them. I am sick of the calls and want them stopped.

I receive calls from this number day and night.  Even as late as 10:45 at night.  Theyt are really ticking me off.  I'm going to report them to my phone company and the FCC.

Odd that http://www.strayer.edu/cobb_county Strayer University, Ga.  has this number, but caller ID shows Nationwide. Are they running a Collection Agency as a course for students??

These ****s call all times of the day or night, at hours that should be (and probably are) a***nst the law.

got a call from 770-612-7241 they left no message...I have read this is a collection agency...but hard to believe because I carry no debt...or at least no delinquent debt.

Keep getting calls from 770-612-7241 and they never leave messages. Even when I answer, there's ***ody on the other end of the line and the call is terminated shorty thereafter. If they're really looking for someone, I wish they'd say so --- they're burning up my minutes - and my patience!
