**** up and repeated calling no caller id

Got home from school and found a message on my voicemail (a land line). A guy said that I had won a prize worth $500 that I entered via email. I didn't and don't EVER do those types of things so I knew right away it was a scam. I am on the "do not call list" and that was another clue. They said they were a "3rd party verifiers" and that the contest I entered was "state registered." What that means is beyond me. The number they called from was 773-293-6978 and "Chad Edwards" appeared on the caller ID. I never called them back because I don't want anything to do with them. However, I'm tempted to call them back and block my number and ask them all sorts of questions...****uming they actually answer.
