My caller ID showed the company as "Protection Center". They called at 2:28 AM! I called back and all I got was a recording stating to press i to be taken off their call list. This is most likely some kind of scam.

Has called my cell phone 4 times, last 2 weeks.  Always calls me at 10:30P or later, my time.  Left message twice.  Says his name is John Pearson with Lighthouse, "a data service provider for Google" and wants to help me get more business through my website.  My cell phone is my listed business phone.  Gave me this number to call back and says it's his direct, private line:  800-219-6019.  I did not call it.  Interesting side note:  on the messages left, just before he begins talking, there is a really strange hum-buzz noise.  It doesn't sound automated, but it might be.

I HAVE RECVD THIS CALL BEFORE, AND IT SAYS TO PUSH ONE TO STOP CALLS. I DID THIS, AND STILL GET CALLS. YOU CANT SPEAK TO ANYONE AT THIS NUMBER, IT DISCONNECTS WHEN YOU CALL BACK, ITS COSTING ME LONG DISTANCE CHARGES TO MY CELL.

Whew, last week I called 888-556-7682 and they have since stopped the phone calls.

Same as Riley from 2/10 -- a recorded telemarketer asking me to press 1 if I'm concerned about home security, or 9 if I'm not.

I've been getting calls from this MA number for weeks.  There are multiple numbers that they are using.  They ask you to press 1 if you want information about a free home security system or 9 if you don't.  They **** up when you press either number.  A call back to that number asks you to press 9 to be taken off their list.

When I answer, they **** up.
