my wife and i both got a call today from this number we had a add on kijiji and this is the only way they could of got our numbers at the same time. thanks for the heads up. been getting alot of advertising sales douch bags calling man these guy's really are bottom feeders.

I received a call from this number this afternoon.  My call display shows Empire Group.  I reverse looked up the number but came up blank.  The caller asked me to hold the line as soon as I picked it up and after 30 seconds the line disconnected.  Seemed fishy to me.

Just got a call from this number, also showed up as "Empire Grp." Was looking for advertising ****e for "Missing Kids News Magazine", but could not email me any info on it. She was talking to me about the local Saskatoon weather, but the number was obviously from Northern Alberta. I've googled "Missing Kids News Magazine"... nothing. She also said that tomorrow was the ad deadline and that she had been trying to get ahold of me all week. Which is obviously not true.

called and said they were called EMPIRE GROUP wanted me to join for calender for the fire fighters- said they got my # thru someone else---   not very happy with this called my home # and my cell-------------his name is   roger  miles he said to call him back after he talked to my wife at 780-701-3716   but he originally called from this number 780-701-3728better not call a***n or I am calling police

Trying to sell advertising in a magazine regarding missing children in my community.Yeah, that's timely....a magazine.

This criminals collects ad numbers from Kijiji buy&sell and use it as the scamlist of the day.May be the bikers in Edmonton could solve the problem with this low lifes........

unpleasant lady called me from community marketing, I told her she could leave a message with me and I would forward it to the marketing department, she said she would rather call back later. I told her that we are not interested in that case. She said that I wasn't qualified to make that decision. I am the owner.

also this number 780-701-3728, called today and I let the man on the phone go about his speal and nicefully declined his offer. JUST to get his information, he was soliciting advertising ****e for 100$ in a Neighborhood Watch Magazine.

I received this call at work today, the lady claimed to be dealing with community involvement and wanted to speak with the person responsible for the businesses community involvement.  I politely explained she could speak to me.  Three more times she asked your qualified to make the decisions. each time I politely told her yes she may deal with me.  on the 4th time I told her she could speak with me or not speak at all.  She told me I needed to take some lessons on how to be polite.  Personally I think it is impolite to treat me as if I am ******, she asked to speak with someone who handles the businesses community involvement, thank you that’s me. These people are rude and they obviously never call about the same issue according to the notes on this page.  780-701-3728 Not Worth Talking To, they will just **** you off.

this # keeps calling my cell 1 780 701 3728 but im always busy but for some reason they've recieved my girlfriends landline number asking for me as well and wont tell her wat its regarding i phone back but its always busy and they never leave a message on my voicemail.

They woke me up today.. I didnt answer cause I was groggy as well..but when i tried to call back it just rings busy..can we say scammers? I dont like how they call my blackberry!

We get calls at my office everyday sometimes as much as 4 times per day.  They are trying to sell us advertising and we have told them no several times.  The callers are always very rude.  For example, today, the first time they called and asked for my boss I put it through to a voicemail.  The second time they called I said "no he's not in today, would you like his voicemail?" and the guy goes "NO, I got his voicemail when I phoned an hour ago."  So I phoned cedar publishing office and asked for our number to be removed from their calling list.  If the calls continue now I'll be going to the police.

I receive a call from this number DAILY and they never leave a message.  Whenever I call them back there is a busy signal.

I had a call from this # 780-701-3728 it was a women asking "can I speak with the owner"I said "can I let him know what it is regarding"She said "yep, advertising"I said "he will not be interested. Can I ask what company you are calling from?"She said "EXCUSE ME, who is this" I said "I  am told by the owner when someone is calling regarding advertising or websites to let him know he will not be interested. Can I ask what company you are calling from?"She said "YOU MOST CERTIANLY CAN NOT!!!!" And she ***g up on me. This women is rude and extremely unprofessional. How do they expect to get business with an at***ude like that.

This is Cedar Publishing.  They were sued a couple of years ago by the Edmonton Police Service because they were using the EPS's name to promote their magazine (and had no legitimate connection to the police service).They are scammers misrepresenting themselves with the goal of getting you to part with your advertising dollars.  Do not give one penny to them.  If they call trying to sell you advertising in their magazine, **** up, call whichever organization it is they're impersonating this time, and report them.Apparently they are slow learners.  Either that or they enjoy being sued.

Got a call from this number today but it woke me up so I didn't answer. All I know is that area code 780 is Alberta because I tried to do a reverse look-up of the phone number in case it was someone replying to my job applications.

I was called by this number by a lady who identified herself as from Child Find Magazine.  Went on to a lengthy description of all the good child find does and tried to sell 200+ advertising spot in magazine. I checked it out on Child Find BC website @ http://childfindbc.com/info/newsmagazine.html  Bottom line, magazine not affiliated with child find BC.

Calls Landline and cell phone daily, does not leave a measage.
