The caller did not leave a message but if this is a telemarketer I want my name removed from the list.

Just got the call at work, through a switchboard no doubt. How they managed that I guess I'll never know...

Got the same msg on my phone today. Not ****** enough to fall for that **** though. This was on a home phone so no big deal for min or anything. just annoying.

On DO NOT CALL list. These are annoying and costly.

Got this message that I won and press 1 but instead I ***g up.

These guys called me twice at home - 1st on NOV 5 at 5 PM and 2nd on Nov 7 at 12 PM. Answering service picked up but no message was left. I received a call on my cell at 10 AM and 2 PM today. Luckily I didn't answer.

This call came in earlier today- the company name that was given to me was: "Premier Cancun Vacations" They didn't like it when I demanded to speak to a supervisor....they also didn't like the fact that I asked them the following questions: 1) Is this a telemarketing call? 2) Will you please tell me your full name? 3) What's the name of the organization you're calling for? 4) What is the company's phone number? 5) Do you keep a do not call list? 6) I would like my number put on that list. 7) Can you make sure that your company won't call me for any other reason? 8) Will your company keep my number on its do not call list for at least 10 years? 9) Does your company have a written policy that says you can't call me? 10) Can you send me a copy of that policy? Well, I got to question #2, and she ***g up!!! ROFL!! Oh, and by the way- THEY ARE REQUIRED TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS....BY LAW. If they don't, or they lie to you, then you can sue- doesn't matter if you're in the States, or in Ca***a (as I am).... And I must say...that was a most satisfying "click".....

On November 6, 2009 @ 10:28 AM I was telephoned at work, on my direct line and listed to a very loud record message telling me my phone number had been selected for some kind of travel award. One of my colleagues received one of these calls yes****ay. I have NEVER received any "spam" telephone calls before to my work number. I want this to cease!

Automated voice activation says you've $2600 in travel dollars and to press 1 to claim your prize. Didn't press 1 and call just ****s up.

unfortunately "they" s****ed listing unlisted #'s recently and the telemarketers now have access. I suggest that you don't answer any number you don't recognise as your cell phone will get very expensive.  Is there anyone out there that has the computer s****s to s**** a website and rally the government to put a stop to this? Obviously the tel carriers have a vested interest in expanding nuisance calls. This # is just one of the nuisance calls that have been placed to my cell phone in recent days. This is only the begining since the numbers have only been listed for a short time.

Called my cell phone today saying "This phone # had been selected to win ... press your 1 key now ... I did not press a # and  the automated message ***g up.

These s***bags have called my cell phone twice now. I don't like paying charges because someone wants to SCAM me. "You number has been selected to win 1000 dollars" is as far as I've let the recording go before ****ing up.

They called me at 2:30 never left a message and never called me back.

Somehow they got my phone number and are offering me a bogus gift, then request your credit card. Scammers.

i got the same call.it apears to be an indenty theft scam.

got a call saying I won $2100 travel dollars press 1 to claim. it makes you wait approx. 3 -5 mins and then comes a foreinger (probably a con artist from Africa) all the while my phone line gets charged a long distance call...you don't win anything and this scam is all an attempt to make you call the number back and keep you on the phone line as long as possible ( ex. questions like you must be 23 yrs old...blah..blah ) so that the other line can collect a long distance fee and possibly some personal information to use a***nst you in a later phising scam.

I totally agree with that last statement.  I received the call, and when I called back I got a general recording about calling outside the standard office hours.I have been sending out a lot of resumes lately and could see recruiters or websites selling numbers on the side.  How else could they get a cell number?

Every time CV/resume is sent out, get these calls. Suspect some recruiters selling numbers appearing on resume to make quick money. Check if the same thing is happening  to you.

I also got call and vMail... 2600!!!  wow!If they call a***n I'm going through the phone :-)But really - I'm making a complaint since my # is on the no cal list and they (seem) to be calling from AB.  Lets put preasure on the companies that let them purchase local #'s for offs**** companies...

The # is not Russian, it is an Allstream # based out of Edmonton AB (780) 701-7470Type: Land Line Provider: AllstreamLocation: Edmonton, ABJust got a call tonight @ 730PM EST. I have an unlisted and unshared cell phone which I have had for over three years. They are either randomly dialing, or are using an old phone listing. I called the number back, and get a general recording that you have called outside of regular business hours and to call back between 1100AM to 700PM AB time.

call me with recording said I won money--big amount...then transfer to a guy........I simply ****up since it is obviously a scam

The call is originating from either Kazakhstan or Russia. Do not give any personal information to them.

Just got a call from this #...telling me I just won $2600 'travel dollars' *** are 'travel dollars'? Anyway, I insisted they just mail me a cheque of what I won, or I could come and pick it up. The 'heavily indiscernible-accented (East Indian/****stani/Nigerian???) man on the line questioned whether I was at least 23 years old...and had a valid Visa or MasterCard. When I asked him why he would need MY credit card info if I WON the prize, he said he would pass me on to another representative. He also said that they wouldn't mail me my 'cheque' and I could not pick it up. I told him to stop calling my # and then ***g up on his ***** a**.Always a fun time f*&%*ing around with these ******s.

this is a scam, just **** up. i hope the *******s who have this number rot in*****. it's a computer telling you that you just won money, horrible quality recording to boot. cheap thieves i guess
