C.D. Lyons I had a supposed Microsoft error message box pop up saying that my IP address had been compromised and to call Microsoft Support...the number listed on the screen was not Microsoft Support...they proceeded to tell me my computer had been scanned and my phone was connected to it..and there has had someone listening in and they had had access to all of my financial information. Long story, short...they wanted me to clean out my account by buy apple gift cards to protect my money.

This scammer has called my phone with a phone number that has been disconnected and Verbally has requested FINANCIAL SUPPORT AS WELL AS OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION AT WHICH POINT I TOLD HIM I DID THE EXTRA MONEY TO SEND HIM AND I DID NOT THEN I ***G UP MY PHONE WHILE HE AS ON THE LINE USING SOMEONE ELSE COMPUTER AND A SET OF HEADPHONES IS WHAT I THINK HE GOT MY NAME A PHONE FROM A WEBSITE MY GRAND DAUGHTER SIGNED ME UP FOR. I CANNOT OFFER ANY MORE INFORMATION AS THIS IS ALL I WISH TO DISCLOSE. I CALLED THE PHONE NUMBER HE SENT ME VIA MY E-MAIL ADDRESS AND AN ANSWERING MA****E PICKED UP AND SAID IT BELONG TO A COMPANY IN MAIMI, FLORIDA AKA: NORTH MAIMI BEACH, FLORIDA THEN AFTER HEARING THIS I ***G UP MY PHONE, AND I KNEW IT WAS A SCAMMER TRYING TO ACTUALLY SPEAK TO ME BY WAY OF AN APPLICATION PERHAPS DOWNLOADED BY HIM ON SOMEONE'S ELSES DESKTOP COMPUTER OR HE MIGHT HAVE DOWNLOADED IT TO THE BORROW DESKTOP AND USES THIS APPLICATI0N TO CALL ME ENTERING A BOGUS DISCONNECTED PHONE NUMBER WHICH HE MIGHT HAVE FOUND ON THE ITERNET. I CHECKED THE PHONE NUMBER ON THE INTERNET ON A WEBSITE AND IT STATES THE PHONE NUMBER I INVESTIGATED WAS DISCONNECTED, THE RECORDING WITH I CALL THIS PHONE NUMBER JUST SAYS IN THE RECORDING " THAT THIS COMPANY IS CLOSED " AND ALSO STATING THAT IT WAS AFTER HOURS AND IT WAS CLOSED FOR THE DAY. (AFTER BUSINESS HOURS) AS I CAN SEE IT OR KNOW USING A COMPUTER DESKTOP APPLICATION AND A SET OF HEADPHONES TO SPEAK TO ME. I TOLD HIM HE WAS A SCAMMER AND NOT TO CALL ME OR E-MAIL ME ANY FURTHER. BUT HE STILL CALLS ME FROM THIS I THINK BOGUS NUMBER WHICH APPEARS TO BE A BUSINESS THAT HAS BEEN THAT IS TILL OPPERATIONAL BUT STILL IN BUSINESS. , THIS ANSWERING MA****E ANSWERED AND THE STATEMENT A FEMALE VOICE STATING THE ABOVE TYPED.
