I am sure the post from misty313 is a post set up by the collection agency.  Read it carefully.  There is no way that this can happen because they would have to be licensed in michigan.  This company is based in Florida and is actually part of a Ted Ellis Crosby conglomerate of about 7 companies.  Ted Ellis Crosby is legally no longer allowed to work in the debt collection field per judge's ruling.Read about some of this at http://www.budhibbs.com/debtcollectorpages/ellis_crosby_and_associates.htmDO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE.  When they call me, I have A LOT of fun with them.  I like to ask them if their Mommy knows they do this for a living.  I like to ask the India call center that lately has called me how things are in ****ay, weather, etc. . . I ask them which court has received the "downloaded" criminal papers.  It's so laughable.

I got the same call. they ****ered me in to paying them by scaring me. I had 3 pay day loans. I paid them, now they are calling me a***n, I guess regarding the third one. They must collect for all these people.  I worry cuz I don't want them to garnish my wages. Can they? They have my work number.  I am avoiding their calls now.  I did not write checks so they can't get me on check fraud.  I am filing bankruptcy, so I will avoid them  until I file.Can they attach my wages? What are their rights as a third party collection agency?

These people did not even give me a chance to call them - they immediately called my 73 year old mother and sister -

Yes****ay  i had the same thing happen to me. I was trying to call ace cash express but they refereed me to this number 18002010565. So i talked to a guy by the name of jack Bowen he was very rude and ignorant. I told me i have untill 4pm yes****ay to pay the money or else i was going to jail. I was like first of all how the***** im going to jail over a pay day loan. He was like you have outstanding chcecks. I told him i did not write checks to them. When you take out a pay day loan with any company you have to have a blank check. So in all actuality you are not writing the checks. They made it seem like i was doing check fraud. Which i know my rights dealing with this after doing alot of resear****g and filing complaint to FTC, BBB, and Attorney Generals office in florida. I was so scared when they had put their sc**** tactics on me. I did not know what to do. So i called them back to ask can i do payment arrangements and the guy told me we cant do that. I was like why? So he s****ed getting loud with me telling me that he do not have to explain anything to me. Then telling me they are filing two complaints on me. Im like this is a civil case not a criminal case. After him going off on me. I ask him for his name he yelled at me asking what is your name. So of course i yelled back at his rude a**. I told him im going to report this company and im going to consult in attorney about taking them to court. Because they violated the FDCPA law. They are doing this to everybody. So people please have knowledge about these people cause they will say and do anything to scare you. I did alot of research on this company. They are not a firm they are a collection agency. If you do not know your rights find out do some research or get in contact with your attorney or lawyer. Yes****ay was a bad day dealing this cruel people. So today i get a phone call from their client which is ace cash express. I was telling the lady that i know all about Legal Mediation Practice. I told her that they where not willing to work with me. IN so many ways she admitted that they where a third party collection agency. So that right there should tell you that when you work in third party collection agency they can tell you anything and lie about their names as well. The lady was very nice and very helpful with sharing with me about them and their company. At the end of the conversation she gave me the guys number that owns that company. Basically in other words she told me to call him and let him know whats been going on and see if he can work a payment arrangement to get the debt paid off. So once a***n people report them , get an attorney. The more people we get to file a complaint the more chance they would eventually be put out of buisness.

I got a call from this company...so called law firm back in April. They were calling for 3 cash advances that I have from like a year ago. Two of my loans were from the internet. I am a single mother and need help. I as well goggled this company and basically laughed in the lady’s face that called me. I asked her is she was a law firm and she told me not to worry about it because there was no way to excuse myself out of it. I know that I owe but don’t have the money so I told the lady do what you got to do!!! Well I am now freaking out because I have to appear in Court on August 7th. I contacted the court house (clerk of court) whatever..and they say these 2 companies have filed a***nst me civilly. I have no money. So can anyone help out and tell me what to do???????? Because the clerk said there is no garnishment involved. So, what is the Judge just going to order me to pay them back or what?. What’s up. A guy named Jason keeps calling my work after I have told him not to call me at my work place. I have now been let go from my job due to him calling.

Tom Law call me 2 day saying good luck. 800-201-0565 ext 237. He told me that the payday loan do not want to talk to me they just throw their hands up. Well that send pains through my chest and may cause me to lose my job which i need. Last year i no money ***** in family i had to do to stay alive i do want to pay back payday loan but in installments. and i need to talk to them

The caller, named Brenda said i had until 1pm today to pay a loan that i did with BMG payday loans, that i havne't heard of. And if it wasnt' paid today they will be going to my home and or work.

I received a call asking for my husband.  Said he made a decision on the legal matter and to return his call.  The last thing he said was Good Luck.I have no idea what this is about.

I returned this call to this number. I asked whom they were trying to call. He then wanted my name, I told him I would not give this to him until i knew who he wanted. He then asked for my phone number, i gave it to him and he said the number is not in system. I then asked for him not to call this number since he could not tell me who he is trying to get ahold of. He was very very rude and informed me it does not work that way.
