I keep getting calls from this number.  they just **** up.  i called back and message says it's a call removal system.  seems fishy to me that a call removal system would be calling me.

I JUST GOT THE SECOND CALL FROM THE UNIVERSITY TODAY I TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL ANYMORE AND I TURNED IT OVER TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IF I GET ANYMORE CALLS I WILL TURN IT OVER TO OUR CONGRESS MAN AND SEE WHAT THEY WILL DO

MAYBE IF WE GET SOMEONE FROM THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IN ON THIS THESE PEOPLE WILL GO OUT AND GET A JOB INSTEAD OF BOTHER PEOPLE THAT ARE ILL AND BEDRISEN IF THEY THINK I AM GOING TO LEAVE MY NUMBER THEY ARE CRAZY

Numerous calls with no answer on other end. The call just drops off. I called the number back and it said to "leave my 10 digit phone number and it will b removedfrom their list within 3 days". I didnot leave it. A ca of worms is already opened

I keep getting a call from 800-208-6331, and no one answers, or if I don't pick it up right away it only rings 2 times and stops. My complaint is stemming from a bogus charge on one of my credit cards, and could there be a conection...?

I called it back after the 2nd call and it said call removal. To remove your number enter your phone number. I didn't do it, afraid they would sell or give my number on to someone else.... how can they call when my number is on the do not call list?

It's prolly a ma****e seeing what time you are around to answer your phone, Best bet is to never answer and not to call the number to get your phone # taken off the list because more will s**** calling

They told me that I had requested college info from them ****rue) from some bizarre e-mail address I've never heard of. Also asked if I'd like to sign anyone else up to receive info. Scam scam scam! Creepy that they knew my name and phone number though.

Yes I know who this is now.  I asked.  The company is called University & College finders.  I have no idea as to how they got my number.  They stated they got it from me going to their website and requesting info.  But I can't find their website so how the heck can I do that.  I asked them to take my number off their list and they tried to talk me out of it.  So I told them I would let them help me find a good college but only if they would put in writing that my education for the next 10 years at any school I apply to would be for free.....so they said they would take my number off their list.Yes I still did file a complaint with the FCC on the National Do Not Call list.  Thats what I recommend anyone getting a call from them to do.

I got 3 calls from this company today, at 10am, 1pm and 4pm.  I logged a complaint with the FCC.  I recommend everyone do the same.  Look up Do not call in google and it will take you to the website to file a complaint.  Thats the only way to stop these types of calls.

Did the same thing. Get the call 2 or 3 times a day or night. Program my hone to reject the call. Maybe they'll get a clue. Did not enter my phone # was afraid they could access more information from there.

I answer the phone and the line goes dead. This has happed 5 times per day for the last two days. I check the number each time and it is always 800-208-6331. I called that number and get a recording that tells me to enter my 10 digit number to be taken off the list. 8342

I got one or two last week and picked up today.  The guy had a major accent sort of Russian maybe? Said exact thing as another poster mentioned, "From University Finder".... he asked for my husband and ***g up right away when I told him I would take a message.  I too recalled the 800-208-6331#  and it was a recording asking me to give them 3 days to remove my number from my list.But I then called the number back without the 800 and playing dumb I asked if he was trying to reach me.  He said no and that he hadn't phoned anyone.  Well I knew he was a liar because I recognized his voice and accent.Thanks to everyone who posted this info.  I will not worry about it now.

Thry are calling to follow up on a survey application that supposedly we filled out seeking aide for continuing education. They were very nice in providing us with as much information as they had on who really filled out this application and took our number out of their call rotation. Someone has taken our name and phone number and used it without our permission on about 15 different online applications thus far. Calls come in 6 days a week! Hopefully we will get this creep shut down!!

I answered and she asked for Ken(my husband). I asked what she wanted and she said to give him iformation on college. I told her she had called a business, and electrical business. She said nothing and the line went dead. They called a***n about 4 hours later. We weren't home and no message was left. This number keeps showing up on our caller I.D., but no message is left.

Just got my new cell number to stop getting call from this people. But no can't help. AT & T is selling the new numbers to this people a***n. They called, once I answer, they ask for different people every time. I don't answer, they left me many messages. I wonder if this is a scam hired by At & T to burn people's cell phone minutes. Anyone know how to stop them calling. They called 5 times today within couple hours. It is very annoyance.

This number calls me constantly and it's a recorded message that does not leave a message but when you call the number back it says thank you for calling call removal, then please leave your 10 digit phone number and it will be removed within 3 business days. But when you go to enter your number the recording kicks on. This is very strange.

Calling is really annoying, no one ever answers one the phone is picked up, weird message when calling them back: "Please leave your 10 digit number for call removal" I was so sick of them, so send them a bunch of empty messages with urgent flag, hoping to swamp back their own message box, but I don't think it was enough. Really dislike bot calls and especially being listed on DoNotCall list.

even if you put ur name on the do no call list, there is a****ion on there for companies like that to subscribe to the list. applying for that does not work

I've been getting calls from this number and accidentally answered it one day.  The guy talked really fast and said he was from University so****ing so****ing (making it sound like he's calling from a university).  I told him I don't have time for him but he asked for a few seconds for a survey.  So I answered a couple questions... they sounded legit since he asked about education.  Then he asked my birthdate for "verification purposes."  That was when I asked what company he works for.  The guys said he's from University Finder and blah blah blah and that he understands why I'm hesitant to give him information blah blah blah...  I cut him off at the point, told him the conversation is over and I ***g up.  They sound like a scam... trying to sound legit then they insert questions asking for personal information.  I wonder how many (like myself) have fallen for this.

I have TWC Digital Phone and got 2 of these calls.  I called TWC and turned there sorry arc's in.  I am on a DO NOT CALL listing.I suggest all the rest of you who are getting these j*** off calls to report them to your phone service provider.

I have been getting the call since last night... I don't know what it is for. I googled the number and one site told me it was a Lender.

I did ask where they (the hired soliciting company)got my number and info. The company purchases addresses and numbers from a large variety of sources such as phone book companies and yes internet sites they sell things.

This number called and they were soliciting donations for the VFW department of Utah. I made a pledge just to see what I would get in the mail. It is from the VFW in UTah. I called the post commander of Ogdens 12th street VFW and this is legit. They just built a huge vets nursing home and they have a company doing the calling. A computer dials the number so calls may go outside of Utah. I was so surprised! Tjheir web site is http://www.vfwutah.org/

i dnt have caller id so i picked it up and said they were some university able to hook you up with other online colleges. i did sign up for so****ing like that a few months back so i talked to the guy. i am so dumb! ill have to block them now cuz i told him my birthdate and everything.   but he already knew my email, adress and number. ***?
