Her Name is Ebony Clewis and she calls everyone on her list of collection accounts. I hope Ebony Clewis gets fired.  Harassment is an under statement!

No, it is not legal. All you have to do is tell her you are putting her on notice, and that she is not to contact you any further on this matter. You can also specify that she not call you at your home or work numbers and inform her that you know about the fair debt and collections act.that'll shut her trapGood luck

Actually spoke to "Crystal" after she left several menacing voice mails at my place of employment including one stating she would keep dialing numbers here until she found someone to give her information about me. When I spoke to her I told her I wanted verification of the debt, as is my legal right. She told me I'd get it in court and that she was going to serve me papers at work. I told her to stop calling my place of employment and she said No Way - she is going to keep calling me and do whatever she has to to track me down and sue me. Is this legal?

These people called a friend that I had not talked to in 3 years this is coming at the end of a bankruptcy.  Said there was criminal activity involving my ssn I called and entered the extension and it said transfering to pending warrents.  I freaked out and called my atttorney and left a message after vewing the two sites that I have. they're either a fraud, scam or a vicious collection agency. Report these people to the BBB the FCC and any other government agency that you can think of. WE HAVE RIGHTS WE MUST MAKE A STAND!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a message on my phone.  It stated so****ing about criminal activity.  I talked to them a few months ago and told them not to call my number a***n because this is NOT who they needed to talk to.  They said they would remove my number...well they didn't do it.  I am in the process now of writing letters to the Attorney General's office in Georgia and Washington and also the BBB in both States.  You must take action if you want them to leave you alone.

Contact the bbb @ bbb,org. enter usa sight go to check out a buisness or charity enter the phone # 1-800-219-0771 click on file a complaint and type away. I s****ed a case back in the begining of november but there are not enough complaints. Lets ban together and shut these people down

This company keeps calling me & my sister for a friend's info. re: a "legal matter". I have told them repeatedly to take my name out of their system, but they keep calling. The person who keeps calling me is named Ebony Clewis. I think it's Bull***t too!! How do you get them to stop?

You can't be arrested for not paying your bills.  Tell them to stuff it!

say they are collecting a debt but their company is not listed and there are online complaints that they are fraud. Bernstein company, wont send proof of debt but want money

I also got a call from these people.. they had enough info on me to make it sound real but i cant find a company online to match them.. they do scare you.. I wish we could get legal advice.. it was thisBernstein, Shapiro &****ociates was the ones who called..

I did receive this call and was threatened with legal action and have actually made two payments to these people in the amount of $75.00 each. I too asked for do***entation to be either fax, emailed, or mailed to me and they denied saying that if the first payment was not made that civil and criminal prosecution would be filed a***nst me. I could not afford for that to happen, it would me that I would lose my job. If anyone has any information about this company please contact me [email protected]. This sounded like a fraud from the s**** and after resear****g the matter, I believe that it is. Please advise.

Received a call from Jennifer Britton with Bernstein Shaperio 800-219-0771 x 109.Said she was investigating contract fraud, but I didn't know the person.

I received a call from Jennifer from Bernstein Shapiro &****ociates.  I returned the call and they requested a lot of information from me, like social security number and address.  When I refused they got very upset and ***g up the phone.

I received a call from this number at my place of work and don't know who or what this is trying to find out if this actually exist.

I received a call on my work phone stating fraud under my daughter's name.  I called back from my cell phone but did not receive a call back. Can they do that and get away with it?

Look out....  The person at this number is trying to get your social security number and date of birth.
