Tax group This is a scam designed to scare you into giving money. Called this number due to receiving a peice of mail claiming I owed $198,390 in property taxes. I don't own property.

Anonymous This phone number, 1 (800) 219-2781 (supposed billing department, open on Sa****ay's), is s**** of Pepco (Exolon Company). The initial call came from (240) 951-4378, telling me that me I'd better call the 1-800 number within the hour, or they'd cut my power. They called saying I owed a ridiculous amount of money to Pepco. Their number leads to what sounds like Pepco's automated system, but is not as complex, because it ultimately leads to the same person. I called back numerous times, and the person who answered the phone disguised their voice to sound like a different person (a woman). I ask them to confirm my account number to verify if this was in fact Pepco that I was talking to, and they ***g up on me.

I just looked on my caller ID and found that the company name is "Safe Solutions". Now does that sound like Google...I don't think so. They are not honest! STay away!!!
jacob it seems to be a possible scam, it's either Google wanting to update your business profile or it's a company that got your information from google map listing and is trying to impersinate google, either way it's just a solicitation.
not for sale after I called progressive insurance (refused to buy product) I got call from number w/ no messageI get the feeling this is telephony "magic" - the telcos creating numbers as needed to dodge liability / trace - and companies using such a feature to from behind the shadow to prevent call back or caller determination.

I have received calls from this number multiple times....None of which I have answered.I have made it a "practice" Not to answer 800, "unknown number", "blocked calls", & numbers that I do not recognize. I also have gone as far as leaving the above as msg on my voicemail. If someone is "trying" to reach me they can leave their name, msg & valid phone number and I will return the call.......In this "day" of scaming, one cannot be too careful, I am also on the National Do Not Call Registry !!!My cell provider has been ask / told to block all 800 numbers, but that doesn't seem to work.....

I got a letter saying that my previous company (starbucks) was involved in a dispute with attorneys about wages and overtime. I was told that the company made a settlement and that i should call 1800-219-0249 to get more information on the settlement. When i called it was a ma****e asking me to subscribe to a locator service that charges 9.99 a month. They send a text message and ask you to reply with Y. Scam.
Someone claiming to be from Chase Home Finance asking about a relative of an ex boyfriend. Who knows how they got my number. I don't buy it.
