Claimed to be from Cross check - told husband that they needed him to send (the exzact amount which had been submitted by check to one of our vendors, byu Western Union, no later than 3 pm Monday. He said the check had been paid to the vendor, but because our bank denied the electronic so****ing, they were owed the money. this check cleared our bank with no trouble and went into the vendors account without a glitch last month. How they got the exact amount and the vendor name we do not know. they alsoasked my husband for his cell phone number. Turned it back to the bank and will notify local PD as well.

Called my cell twice today, at 1444 and 1654, left no message. Lots of complaints on different web sites about this number.

A MAN NAMED DAN IS CALLING MY WORK AFTER I TOLD HIM NOT TO. HE IS YELLING AT ME TO PAY THE DEBT BUT WILL NOT TAKE MY PAYMENT. HE ****S UP AND THEN CALLS BACK. I GAVE HIM MY PERSONAL NUMBER BUT HE NEVER CALLS IT. HE DOESN'T WANT TO GIVE ME THE INFORMATION TO SEND HIM MY PAYMENT.

I got a call from a man named Dan from "800-234-8151". It's a debt collector. if you do owe, at least make payment options. Remember, it is illegal to refuse payment for so****ing you owe... so payment options should be o-k within the law of any state... they can't refuse money.
