Claimed to be from Cross check - told husband that they needed him to send (the exzact amount which had been submitted by check to one of our vendors, byu Western Union, no later than 3 pm Monday. He said the check had been paid to the vendor, but because our bank denied the electronic so****ing, they were owed the money. this check cleared our bank with no trouble and went into the vendors account without a glitch last month. How they got the exact amount and the vendor name we do not know. they alsoasked my husband for his cell phone number. Turned it back to the bank and will notify local PD as well.
They keep calling my cell, sometimes 3 to 4 times a day, usually leaving messages. The messages are always for Julie, but in conjuction with Salvador (I don't even know anyone by that name) and a different last name.
call my cell and I don't give out my number because it's my sisters plan...someone called at 9:30 am...and didn't leave a voice mail....
