Leave a CommentDo not call the number they give you in the message, instead call your credit union or bank via a known number to you, and check with them! The number given WAS NOT MY CREDIT UNIONS FRAUD PROTECTIONS SERVICES, when i called my credit union and had them double check my accounts and that number and it is not one of their numbers!
Actual Visa Fraud Prevention in service to my Credit Union. I've *****ed in the past thinking this was a scam and ignored the call; then later my Visa debit would be put on hold and unusable.
Multiple calls from this number pretending to be fraud protecrion. They say your credit card ending in a specific number. They want your information. Don’t give it out.
Its just fraud prevention making sure you purchased items on a credit/debit card, its not spam, automated system asks u to verify recent transactions. Mine was for my credit union, might be a company that handles multiple banks. No scam
Called me once so far pretending to be Downey Savings Fraud Prevention. They wanted my Card Number and Zip Code, past that I just ***g up. Sounds like a ***** scam.
