I called back the number and the message said "Thanks for calling Global Knowledge, please hold for the Technical Advisor."Sounds like a marketing call for a school of some sort.
I keep receiving calls from this number. They have never left a message. I never gave them permission to call my cell phone. I have called them back on a couple of occassions to "KINDLY" request 1) To stop calling my cell phone 2) To tell me how they got my number since I have never done any business with them.
Got a call today and picked up before looking at the Caller ID. (I generally don't answer 800 # calls)Like mentioned in an earlier post they got my contact info from a white paper I downloaded.Sales lady (nice voice ;) ) was friendly enough.
they call me every single day and have NEVER EVER EVER left a message. It's very annoying.
Got a call a few minutes ago. Picked up on 2nd ring. Hello? Can I help you? Nothing but silence. Called them back and had them remove my phone number from their call list.
Yes, we are no longer required to leave voice messages because they never got returned and were a waste of our time!We do sometimes use automatic dialers when calling our customers and prospective customers as well. We are not calling to demand you hand over your wallet right there. We want to****ist you with information (if you need any) on IT training courses. Most of the people we call are members of our partners websites such as Techrepublic, TechTarget, TechWeb, etc. If you download a whitepaper from any one of those sites, and you have your legitimate phone number on your account with those sites, they will refer you to us as someone who might be interested in pursuing IT training courses. If you would like to call back our number, feel free. Just please be nice about it! We are working professionals helping other professionals with their careers.Another tip: if you are a member of any of our partner websites, and you don't want calls each time you download a whitepaper or do a webinar, log into your account and c****e the phone number to so****ing like all 5's, all 9's etc and you will still get access to those valuable resources. Thanks!
I received a call from this number and no voicemail was left. they lie if they say they always leave a vox because it's obvious from several people's experience that this is not the case.
http://www.globalknowledge.com/ 800-294-3920They call and never leave a message then when I call the number I get the option to press 2 and have my number removed. But, I get a person answering instead of the option to just remove my number.
They didn't leave me a message either.
Above comment that they will leave/ required to leave a message. Not true. Called me twice and left no message.I filled out a form to get a white paper - noting said anything about "We'll call you several times for no apparent reason and just not leave a message."Ironic: the one time I don't use a fake email and phone number. Thanks for the harassment.
Received a call today from this company Caller ID: 800-294-3920Caller: Global Knowledge ... if it is Global Knowledge ...they need to leave a message and should respect if a caller leaves them a message stating that a person does not want calls. EVEN if this is an automatic calling system... the persons number should be removed ... and if it is automatic (FIX IT)....
They call me every Friday it seems. I don't answer, they get my voicemail and don't leave a message. So Mike above is not correct when he says they are required to leave a message.I thank my boss on a weekly basis for signing up for training information on my behalf. (training I never got!!)
I received a call from this same number. When I answered, the call ***g-up. I called back and it was Global Knowledge. Select option 2, and kindly asked them to remove me from their calling list.My guess is that the company is using an automated calling system and it does not work very well. And yes, I had enrolled in a class once.BTW, "Do Not Call" list does not work if you conducted business with the caller. However, you can ask the caller to remove you from their marketing database per their Privacy Policy.
Why and how did we get on this "call list"? This is very annoying. This company needs to stop calling.
I work for Global Knowledge. This is a very simple process. All you have to do is CALL THE NUMBER BACK, kindly let us know what is going on, kindly give us your number, we will be happy to look it up and then KINDLY ask us to not call or if you would like information on our training courses, we'll be glad to help you with that too.If we get your voicemail, we WILL leave you a message. We are required to leave one message on your VM if we do get it.(notice "Kindly?") We are working professionals too trying to help out other working professionals in their IT industries!
global knowledge... I signed up for one of their white papers (mistake) thinking it might have some good information (**********umption). then I ask them to stop calling me all the time (mistake) and I thought they would, then I got extremely upset and yelled and screamed at them (***********umption), thinking that would stop the calls. Now I have to spend some time and do so****ing more serious.DO NOT EVER GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO GLOBAL KNOWLEDGE OR ANY COMPANY CONNECTED WITH THEM. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF ****HOLES.
I got a "Thanks you for calling Global Knowledge". They are a well known training company.
Got this call, and an identical experience from 800-307-3588, one a day after the other:answering - caller ****s up without saying anyting/playing any recordingcall back - recorded female voice saying they were sorry they missed me when they called back "in response to your request" that I never made. Offered to remove my number from the list if I typed it in. No way to get to an operator. I didn't type my number in, and after a while it said they were forwarding it for manual removal.
from which company is this call originating?
