Yes, this is GE Capital Bank/Synchrony Financial; they are verifying purchases as indicated below by St8Kout.

This is GE Capital Bank credit card. They are the ones who finance interest-free loans on certain items you see advertised, such as on Amazon.com. I called them back and they were just verifying a purchase I made from a music store last month with 24-months interest free financing. They offer this hoping you will miss a monthly payment so that they can add on their super-high interest rate at the end of the loan. Of course, if you didn't finance anything you might want to give them a call back.

They called me and didn't leave a mess.

Recorded message - Said they were from Home Design and were calling about a su****ious charge on my credit card. The automated message even said my name and went on to say it wasn't a telemarketer. It said to press a key to continue - I pressed a key, but it sounded like they ***g up before it registered.

Has called me several times a day with no voice mail left on phone.  I don't respond to numbers not known who leave me no message.  Anyone else out there know anything?

Several calls to this wrong number....looking for information I can not give. third call to a Do Not Call number. There is a Website....bogus...phone number with an 814 number "disconnected". what gives?

THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT!! I ACTUALLY CALLED THE NUMBER BACK - IT IS GE MONEY CARD (CREDIT CARD) CALLING TO CONFIRM THAT I RECEIVED THE VERY PRICEY MERCHANDISE I PURCHASE ON MY CARD!! CALL THEM BACK!!

I got a call from this number and they left a message saying they were from citibank and wanted to verify a purchase on my credit card account.I do not have a citibank credit card so I am pretty sure this is some kind of scam.The caller ID says TOLL FREE CALL
