I don’t have a Direct TV account, but the message was “Hi there I a.m. calling you from AT&T DIRECTV to let you know that your existing account is qualified for 50% off in order to avail the discount kindly call us back at 855-661-8237 from 8 AM till 9 PM Pacific standard time thank you and have a great day…”

Obviously a scam number. It is sad that that these cannot be detected and stopped.

Scam debt collector. Called wanting my wife's last four of her social sec number. I gave them four random numbers and they "confirmed"it was her they were trying to get in touch with. these creeps are a bunch of crooks, don't give them ANY information over the phone.

Bucket scam shop peddling vacations.
I received this same mailing from First Class Travel for a trip for 2 for $100. I looked up the address and it gives me a vacation company but its not the same name. Just trying to find out if it's legitimate. This company also doesn't send out calls...just mailers.
Called my home phone , left no message, I called back, got the recording "That number is no longer in service"
