calls saying they are wells fargo

This is a legitimate Wells Fargo Fraud Department telephone number. I ***g up on the automated caller when asked for identifying information and called the number on the back on my credit card. There was a fraudulent charge made to my account. My credit card is being re-issued.

Called my house then my cell this morning 7/4/2015.later after noon my cell phone a***n.If legit why not leave a message on answering ma****e?

This number 800-446-0664 is Wells Fargo Visa card fraud protection. They left an automated voice mail message today 10/10/2014 stating my full name and needing to confirm transactions. My card was stolen last night, and used today at a gas station. WF flagged the transaction. Their algorithms must be getting better. Of course, I never spend $100 at a gas station. Must have been a big tank to fill. (I'm posting this in all of the who-called phone number sites just to make sure everyone sees that it is legit)

Calls from this number are trying to perpetrate BANK FRAUD. The people on this page stating it's not spam and it's a legitimate Wells Fargo number ARE THE SPAMMERS. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER. Instead, report it to your bank's fraud/security group to try and stop these ******s!!! So sick of this!

It's effing fraud and the people on this post saying it's not are the FRAUDERS! Do not call the number. Report it to your bank fraud/security people to try and get these ******s stopped!!!

IT'S NOT SPAM. It's Wells Fargo fraud prevention department. Whenever you use your card for "out of country" transactions -- WF calls you to verify it.

Calling house phone. No one is there it disconnects. Called 4 times already today. Not sure what it is.

It's legit. As others have noted, it's Wells Fargo fraud prevention, calling to verify recent transactions.

Definitely fraud don't give out your info

I received three calls, all went to voicemail. The first message was an automated message asking me to call back. The last two were ****-ups. Called the WF number on the back of my card, and the rep said there was no record of that number with WF.
