they let it ring once and **** up. so rude!

they called me at 8pm Wisconsin time. I too tried calling back at 9 and got the same ****** message. I set that number to just go straight into vm as they don't leave a msg anyway. Named the contact ZIP ZIPO

I've received (and dodged) two calls from this number in the past week. No message is left. I agree that it would be strange if it is US Cellular, as I've been with them for nearly 10 years as well. Wondering if it is a political polling call? I had received 5 (!!!) calls from an 888- number one day last week, and I finally answered (and told off the poor soul on the other end)...she said she wanted to "discuss the recent political events of the nation." In hindsight, I should have prodded further, but I was too annoyed to care.

I just got a call from this number also.  they did not leave a message.  Someone mentioned it could be a us cellular welcome but that would not make sense considering i have had us cellular for 10 years now.

If that is the case than they shouldn't be calling me.  I have been with them for years.  Also this is the 4th call they have made.  I'm getting very tired of it.

This is a uscellular welcome to the company call. If you have a new account with them they will call you. It maybe in error if you donot have an account or if your account is really old.

I called U.S. Cellular after repeated calls from them to my Verizon Cell Phone. I have never been an U.S. Cellular customer, and no one in my family is either. All of us are in the 'Do Not Call' database.W***ver calls never leaves a message. I had to insist on speaking to a supervisor because the person I first spoke to at U.S. Cellular (Olivia) tried to fluff me off and stated there was nothing they can do. (really?)The supervisor stated that they will remove me from their data base. We'll see. Next stop is the FCC.

Received call at 12:***m 12/22/09, I was busy and did not answer. No VM was left. I am on 'Do not call list' and don't know who it could be. I have been a US Cellular customer for many years and have never had calls from them unsolicited, I also know they do not sell cell phone numbers as other companies have on occasion. Not sure who it is but their number did show up.

I answered... I thought my son might be calling using a calling card.There was ***ody on the other end.

I also received a call from this 800 number. Am also wondering who it is because when you call it they don't identify themselves. The message on their end states that all reps. are busy****isting other customers and to wait on the line. If this is US Cellular why do they want you to call an 800 number when they would otherwise have you call*611...is this an attempt to charge a***nst your peak minutes?.........

repeted calls ,various times during day into evening reverse lookup takes me to a pay site to get info caller ****s up before phone can be answered only 2/4 rings

Received an unsolicited call from this party.  Do not want any more calls.
