Weird! They said they were going to disconnect phone number, so to provide them with our social security, yeah right! We just hung up. Sounded like a big time scam!

zap Called this number back, it was Suntrust bank, although I have no way of verifying that. They asked for my name, I gave it. I asked why they called, they said they couldn't tell me without asking for my bank acct#, or my social sec #, or my debit card #. I would not give that information out. She said "OK" and that I could call the number on the back of my card. If this really is Suntrust calling, this is a very, very poor practice.

Just got a call,I answers and had a dial tone,so I call returned to find out it was Sun Trust.I ask what they were calling for,she replied that she didn't know but she could find out if I gave her my ss#. I said the was no way I was going to do that,she responded that I could wait for them to call back to see what it was about .I have a mortgage with them and it current,they have mailed me in the past or just simply left a message.

First pretended to call from Bell.Then after asking questions, told was calling on behalf of Bell.During the call I googled for the number showing in the call display, led to this page.I asked her if she was calling from ICT in Montreal.She said, no, she was calling from Lindsey Ontario.I then asked, are you calling on BEHALF of ICT?She said, yes.I then told her that ICT is failing to observe the do-not-call list as set out by the CRTC.She apologized for this.I told her that recently Bell got in trouble for making unsolicited calls, and that theoretically I could get ICT in trouble.She then told me to have a nice day and hung up.Why is ICT getting away with breaking these rules?

Tara I recieved a call from this number as well.  I called back and was able to add my number to the do not call list without actually talking to anyone.

Robert Called and left no message. Called number back and the company was Sikes. Also with Virgin Mobile. Virgin has been purchased by Bell. Virgin customers have been transferred over to the Bell network.I wouldn't be suprised if Bell Canada is selling the numbers.

CJ They claimed to be from Virgin Mobile and informed me that if I topped up my pay and talk account, they would add 20%. I told them I no longer use it and have an iphone. They told me to give the phone to a friend or relative and top it up as a gift. Sounds like the same jack-a**es that keep telling me I won a free Bell phone to give to a friend or relative. I used to like Virgin, before Bell bought it but Wind Mobility looks better every day.

cam05 I'm with Virgin aswell, I keep getting these same calls. I just called back and added my number to the "do not call list", I bet it won't help. I'm gonna call Virgin aswell to find out why I'm getting these calls. That's why it always pays to read the fine print!  Stupid cell companies.

cam05 I just called Virgin and they said that Sykes is a company they work with(1-800-540-7643). Apparently Sykes is trying to contact the virgin customers if there is an issue with your account. I didn't buy that cause if they were trying to contact me, someone would answer me when I answer my phone. Don't fill out your profile info on Virgin Mobile's site, that's obviously how they hand out your info to other companies. I've never been told by Virgin that they would be having other companies call me to deal with my personal info. Your best bet is to call Virgin and complain, tell them to remove your number from calling lists and to not be contacted by Virgin either. I'm a pay as you go customer so I don't need constant reminders to give them money unless I need to use MY phone.

Mystic I checked my phone records, and they've been calling me a few times a day, always around noon and 6, even on weekends. Not sure how they got my number, but now I  read the above messages, I guess I know now. Virgin sold out my personal information without my consent! I guess this is what happens when you get bought out by Bell Canada!

Mic****e I called the number back and the company is called Sikes (like yikes with an S???).  There was a recorded message of some kind...didn't pay too much attn to it.  At the end it asks if you would like to remove your number.  I entered my number and a message advise that it would take up to 72 hrs to remove from system.On a side note, I am also with Virgin Mobile.  Do you think they have sold our numbers to a marketing company?

I have gotten many calls for my husband. The caller won't speak to me and calls at all hours of the day and night. Today, my husband did pick up andd the caller was from 911. I had thought that 911 does not solicit funds. Hope I am correct.

I received a voicemessage from 775-637-6551 on my caller ID stating they could give me a lower rate on my home mortgage without refinancing or changing the loan term.  They left a message to call 800-540-1288 but I had to do it within 72 hours; this must be a scam

Got a call from 1-800-540-7679. Said she was from ICT Marketing for BELL CANADA. This is the standard marketing call from Bell to offer new services to current customers. According to whitepages.com, James T. Assali's home number is               949-679-2993. He lives at 29 Shady Ln, Irvine, Ca 92603. If you get calls at 5 am, maybe he would like you to call his house and give him the same treatment.

Just got a call from these people. They had it worded perfectly to sound like it was my current mortgage provider. The message said it was Linda Senior Underwriter with either EMC or GMC but she sort of said it quickly. When I called it didn't say a company name or anything but it had a female recorded message stating please hold for the next operator and some music played and then some guy answered and I asked if this was EMC and he said no it was Meridian. I told him to F off and then hung up since I was pretty ****ed that it wasn't my mortgage company and I am currently waiting to hear from them on something. Total waste of my time. You know, who are these Jews kidding? If you can't run an honest business, don't run one. Its all about money with these bloodsuckers.

"Sphinx Gold"  -is the same company as two others, including "health aid solution" which is a fraudulent company.

The message is crafted to sound like it is your own mortgage holder, it is not!  Scam!

I dialed this number once by mistake and I've been getting three calls every evening ever since. Annoying. Fortunately, it's a cell phone so I set it to vibrate and then ignore it. After my number has been on the do not call list for 31 days, I'll go after them if I'm still getting the calls.

Got an automated message phone call to my cell phone stating that my Visa debit card had been restricted for online services and to Press "1" to reactivate it. So I pressed “1” to pry for more info so I can report the Nigerian bastards (even though nothing will happen to them) Anyway, it asked me for my CC# , expiration date and 4 digit pin. I entered the number "2" for everything and it said thank you, your card is now reactivated. -Obviously a scam!

One of five numbers that call me constantly.  We do not answer 800 numbers and no messages are left.  Only a noise that is probably a computer or fax machine.  We are on the National Do Not call lists.

This is one of Xentel's numbers, a giant telemarketeer. An internet search reveals at least 4 states are invesigating these calls and the ways they are made. Most of the money goes to this company, which does solllicit fund-raising for over 100 organizations, and on its web sight prodly documents the millions of dollars in profits it clers each year for itself. It has 20 U.S call centers and a major headquarters in Calgary..Canada of all places.Seriously consider favoring local charities you know or the United Way or the Salvation Army before giving nearly 80% of your donations to these telemarketeers.

Blah-Blah,something about walmart. blah-blah I called back and opted out my phone number, it said that I may still receive calls for a short duration of them processing my removal.In the past I speak my made up Indian language, for the most part I'm such a sucker-softy. The recording I will try!!!!
