Got a voicemail from Rene Ward from Sweepstakes Center saying I won a new Navigator in contest that I entered sometime in last year. I don't enter sweepstakes, so I knew so****ing not on the up and up. She left the call back number of 800.558.0948, saying I needed to respond within 24 hours and that my prize was 'ready for pickup.' When you call - it's a voicemail, asking you to leave your name and the number that they called you at, and a number to reach you within the next 24 hours. Their vm says if you don't leave this information, they won't know you tried to call, and prize might be forfeited. BEWARE
It's the latest number used by the junk faxers at Island Reef Travel aka Island Reef Resorts aka Palm Coast Getaways (and dozens of other aliases they've used to evade law enforcement authorities like Fiesta Bay Travel, C**** Bay Travel, etc…, run by the same people who ran the Travelcomm scam. These ****s send the illegal junk faxes with fraudulent offers for impossible travel deals at $99 with roundtrip airfare included for two.Until they go to jail where they belong, one of the most effective ways to get back at them is to use your fax ma****e to fax their junk back to them on each Toll Free voice number per junk fax they send. This call is from United MoneyCorp, IncPo Box 2378Pampa, TX 79066-2378I had numerous calls, to which I did not respond. I finally received a collection notice from them. Original creditor was said to be WAMU with whom I have never done business. An additional note is that my name is spelled incorrectly. My street address is incomplete.
He claimed to be joshua lewis from an attorney's office. He left the phone number saying it was a very time sensitive issue. The company name was not audible. He also gave an extension of 5315. I believe this is a scam.
