Anonymous This robo caller is ****ing up my phone. My call blocker has blocked 18 calls in the past 5 minutes.
She wanted me to make an online payment to a credit card account. She claimed I missed the due date (false), and stated a wildly incorrect payoff amount on the account. I did not deal with this person.
Nothing
I was called by a salesman to buy a home warranty. When I tried to call them back to cancel this order I got this number on my account. No one can answer this phone, it is always busy. It is a SCAM.
Called twice left no message
They said they were from First Citizens Bank and to call this number back. I called the correct number for customer support and they said it was a fraudulent call when they looked at my accounts

I just got a call from this number and she left a message but could not understand her. I have been getting so many calls that I let my answer machine screen the calls.
call
It is Nespresso, so it is not an unsolicited call. They want to make sure you have adequate stocks of capsules for your machine.
I had a call from this number. The person identified them selves as from Fifth Third Bank. He wanted to do a review of my mortgage for refinancing free, and include my other debt. I checked with the bank and they verified this is one of their offers. Fifth Third frequently calls to offer some service.
We have a checking and savings at Fifth Third, but no loans or anything through them. I can't imagine why they would be calling. I figure it's either A) A scam like Hayley said or B) They are trying to sell me something. Either way, not interested.
I just received a phone call from them now. I just setup this phone number to, which was odd. Normally, I do not answer, machines looking for live numbers. I answered, a man asked for: "Padre"? Then said: "Wrong number?" and hung up. I suggest not answering these calls, I was weary. I'm from the midwest.
Got a call from (972) 916 6326 (Irving, TX) identifying himself as Brad from Capital One Bank and asked that I return the call at 1800 562 9007 ext 66326
Calls my cell about three times a day. My husband answered it finally yesterday and they said they were from some PKI place. As soon as I got on the phone they hung up.
A man identifying himself as Bob Willis from Capital One Bank called my home & wanted me to return his call at 800-562-9007. What mystifies me is that the number he was calling from was identified as 972-916-4267. I can find nothing for either number. I think it may be a scammer call.
i have verified with fifth third bank that this is NOT their number and this is fraudulent activity. They are investigating, and advised NOT to give out any info over the phone to this number. 4/27/10
called at 8:17am answered with hello and they hung up
Male caller. Called and asked to speak to a person who was not available. Refused to leave a name or a number. Apparently he did not want to leave information. Also thought he was calling a cell number.

Cannot understand the beginnig of the call. Can understand the phone number; it repeats. No caller ID shows. She may have said SAC. I have seen other calls ID'd as Sally Mae. I notice the support Phishing messages below. I'm not giving any info. Claiming you have a loan you never made is FRAUD.
Did not answer...left no message
Same thing here, no message left
I've gotten this call 3 times today...I have gotten this call up to 5 times a day...Decided to answer it today...They asked for my husband, when I said he wasn't here they asked when would be a good time to call back...I said NEVER and hung up....We went to fifth third back last saturday and closed our accounts...We won't be doing any more business with fifth third bank ever again....I was mad my husband refused to tell them why we moved everything we had out of their bank and went with KEY bank...Ok the rates are a hell of a lot better at Key but the whole reason we started checking into it was because of these phone calls..
calls cell phone couple times a week. never leaves a message. at least they didn't call during thanksgiving weekend :/
calls cell phone couple times a week. never leaves a message. at least they didn't call during thanksgiving weekend :/
Nespresso coffee maker called. Didn't answer, but I do have one of their machines, so its not really unsolicited
This is a scam!!! They are trying to trick you into giving them your financial info. It is NOT Fifth Third Bank.
They called asking for someone who doesn't live here. Asked me for my name and social security number!? Wouldn't tell me what company they are or what they do, very vague... So I searched the Web and found many pages complaining: they are CollectCorp, FIA card services, Bank of America, and other names. Them asking me for my SSN, etc. is not right. Be careful! Look them up in the Better Business Bureau web site!!!
Some fool named Brian called my house asking for someone when I told them they didn't live here and they have the wrong number. I was nice the first time, but after the 2nd and 3rd time this a**hole calls me back, I went off on him. Told him I was going to report the company to the BBB if they didn't stop calling. I then called the number and spoke with somene else who said they'd report my number as a bad number and won't call again. WHY do I have to raise hell to get someone to do that when all they had to do was do that crap the first time!!!! Idiots!!!
calls but doesn"t leave a message
Another 800# that shows up as not on public record. Who is wasting my time?

The caller is Tri-State Adjustments, a collection firm with an office each in Wisconsin and Illinois. You can visit their website at http://www.wecollectmore.com
They continually call me, even though I do not answer. They leave messages but do not say what they want. i used yellow pages and found out that its canfield inc. I have no affiliation with them and yet they won't leave me alone
Advertising some form of Payment Partner Enrollment Program. Advertised signup to 'pay your minimum over next six months' for a 10% reward on purchases and finance charges. Sounded flimsy to me.
A call from this number came while I was out and left a recorded and non-explanatory message.
Citibank calling about credit card.
A Patty Atwood left a message saying to fax the application she had e-mailed to me to 1-800-357-7912 or to call her back at her extension 44439. I have not applied for a student loan or recieved a form via e-mail from anyone. I called and she asked me what account number we were talking about. I told her, "I don't know" and she then asked me for my social security number." I didn't give it to here so she started asking what my name was and where I lived. Never give out your social security number!
asked for someone other than me, and if i was the person they where asking for to push #1
For people who block the number, or ignore the call.... Student Assistance Corporation is a subsidiary of Sallie Mae, but works with several lenders in resolving delinquency on student loans. Even if you don't have a student loan, you should answer, they are not selling or soliciting, they may be calling as a reference. With all the people in teh world you are bound to be related to, a friend with, a neighbor of or know someone who has a student loan, and if they put you as a reference, or there is reason to believe you are a relative, they will call. If you want the calls to stop, the best thing to do, especially if you aren't the borrower, is answer the phone, be polite, give the information you have, and then asked not to be contact in the future. As far as people who do have student loans, SAC is trying to help you AVOID collections on a federal loan, resulting in wage garnishment, seizure of tax returns, SSI and unemployment if you do default. You should talk to these people, there are many options that don't require payment. And when they ask you personal information, such as your social, it's because that is how their accounts pull up, it is a LEGITIMATE company, working for the guarantor USAF. If you receive a call from

Got a call today from Mark Allen (notice they never give their full name) from 5th 3rd, my account is in good standing. I was a couple of days late last month (first time ever) but is ok now. Last time they called it was to try to get me to use up my paid up 2nd mortgage. No way, I want nothing to do with these guys ever again.
From 5th 3rd Bank (Mark Allen) I have an account with them but it is current and paid up. Last time they called it was trying to get me to use up the equity built up on my home even though I am on the do not called registry.
calling my family members asking for me, respresenting themselves as calling about Fannie Mae student loans. There is no such thing
Got a call from this number three days in a row now. I also have accounts at Fifth Third Bank, but they are all in good standing. They have no reason to call me, except to sell me something, and I don't answer the phone when they call.
looking for an x of over 20 yrs.
Very unprofessional, called me, but would not disclose purpose of callSaid it was private matter.
I keep getting calls from cnam unknown. I do not know what this is. Last night I received a call at 8:45 p.m. from 866-480-7678 and it came up cnam unknown. When I woke up the next day, I called it back and it was huntington learning centers. I am getting sick of these calls, and I am on a do not call list and they continue to come in. What can I do about this?
We get calls from this same number almost everyday. I have even called them back and asked what they were calling about. The asked if I had a late payment which I didnt. I asked them to find out what department it was comming from. They informed me that they couldnt find anything about who called me and why. We do have accounts with fifth third but they couldnt find any reason that anyone should be calling. I also asked them to take our number off their calling list. I told them I didnt want to hear from them unless it was pertaining to one of our accounts. Since I have talked to them several times about these phone calls the had stopped upuntill today 02/11/08 and now they seem to have started all over again. If it continues I am going to contact the president og the bank and see if that will help.
I get repeated calls from this number, when I pick up, there is no one there. I have traced it to Fifth Third Bank.
These people are intrusive, persistent, and rude. They were told to not call but persist for NO REASON.From 8AM to 8PM and they will be rude right to your face.I repeat: no right and no reason.
call back indicates this is from Fifth Third Bank.
Receioved a call this morning. After some "dead air" a man came on the line and apologized that it was the wrong number.
