an unknown caller used this number and other numbers to repeatedly call me yesterday and today to offer me a medical alert device which I only discovered after receiving numerous calls per day. I don't know why my google voice number did not ring in advance also. I called one time and told them I am not interested but looks like I might have to call again

Called my cell phone and left message for a Mrs. Ocho or someone that is not me.  Said that it was important to call back but didn't say why.  Said she was calling from GCC Corporation.  Must be a scam

Same thing here...Josh Balmer/Volmer....? Said he's a supervisor, he said someone needs to call him back to resolve the obligation.  Never giving any details as to what or who its about.  Very annoying and he sounds very threatening.

I have heard that these calls are associated with Capital One Credit cards.  Unpaid and balance due?

Had this number show up on my bank account w/ a 32.00 charge. Have only had my account for a few months and the card they charged had only been used one time. I opened a dispute case at the bank and a police report as well. This is a fraud company and hopefully they will get shut down soon! I called this number twice......got the same girl but she gave me two different names and told me she couldn't look up my "information" with me giving her my debit card number! Seriously? What kind of business can't pull your account up by name?????

I got basically the same phone call except first off they know a friend of mines name (first and Last name) When I told them that party was unavailable they turned around and asked me when they would be available and when could they call back. So I asked them for a number and they gave out this number 1-800-563-4929 Extension 1357. When I asked them what they were calling for they told me that they could not disclose that with me because it was a personal matter. So I asked what kind of personal matter, like taxes, credit cards virtually anything. However they would not disclose that information. Then I asked them could I even simply get a name, they told me to ask for Laura and she would direct them from there. SO I asked what am I suppose to tell my friend because this sounds well wrong. All they said was to tell them that it was "a personl business matter." Funny my friends work place will disclose anything with me because Im on the emergency contact list. I am from canada and would like to know first off how did they get my number but be looking for them? somethings not right and the more I look into it, I would say its nothing but a SCAM!!!!!!

DO NOT CALL BACK.  This guy is breaking the law.  Look up FDCPA.  It's a scam of the highest degree.  He uses his "threats" to scam money.  He needs to be "escalated" into prison.

These faxes that are in violation of Federal law have started again. What I do is put in *6718005635036 and dial. The *67 prevents your calling number from showing up. I then don't say a word when they answer. They hang up. I hit redial and keep doing this. If we all do this it will tie up their phones lines as it is obvious that they don't care about the law. This phone sales group was operating out of LAS Vegas for awhile and I believe they got shutdown but are now active again. I tried in the past to remove my number but it doesn't work as they don't care so let's drive them nuts like they do to us. Let's waste their money and time.Getting revenge

These people are violating several laws when they make their calls.  Everyone should look up the FDCPA and get your specific state/local laws....It is illegal - what they are doing!!!    YOU HAVE LEGAL RIGHTS  not to be harrassed by these people.  Check it out!

just got a fax from Corporate Travel Department 800-563-5036.  i already registered my phone number at donotcall.gov but still got this.   annoying marketing call.   Fax told to call 877 865-2471 to remove. i m in CA.

Same threats .... Same number ... however I've been getting the calls from a Angela Denardo (or something like that) It's been a week now and she's stating that it is very important I return her call.  Each message gets nastier and nastier.  She's calling my house and my WORK!  She gives 2 numbers to call back ... 800-563-4929 Ext 8777 & 905-413-8777.  I tried a reverse search and all I came up with was Unionville, ON. (which is what shows on the caller ID) TODAY she calls again ... even nastier ... syaing she's calling with or for GC Corp .... stating it's not a telemarketing call, something about a personal matter of mine being on her desk, and something about it being affiliated with my SS#!!!!   I don't think so!   Maybe a debt collector .... but I only owe hospitals and I've spoken with their collections already.  So, some jerk in Ontario Canada shouldn't have any business with me.   I beleive it to be a scam.

The fcc has a web site where you can complain about these faxes. I get them all of the time and I started filling out the "on line" form at the FCC web site. I hope they get to the bottom of this.

Received any number of faxes from 800 563 5036 promoting a vacation package which is too good to be true. By phone they relate that they are the Atlantic Beach Travel of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.  Has anyone done business with them or know anything about the com[any or this vacation promotion?

I've been getting the exact same threatening phone calls.  Josh Balner or something tells me I have to call Ms. Crawford.  I think instead I have to call the Police.

Unwanted vacation package ads are being FAXed to me periodically. The number listed in the ad is 1-(800)-563-5036. In small print under this number is printed, "If you have received this in error call toll free 1-877-865-2471 to be removed". Do you think that it would be a good idea to follow these instructions? I am suspicious. ALSO - I notice that the incoming-FAX information printed at the top of the page shows that the originating phone number is 1-831-800-7079 and the "company" title is Corp Travel Dept.I have been receiving these ads for at least 6 months. I am annoyed because they use up my ink and paper. How can I force them to stop?Is there some way I can find where these people live so that they may be eliminated with "extreme prejudice"? (Heh, heh, just kidding... but really. No just kidding.)

I have been getting threatening calls from these jerks.  Josh Balder or something like that- need to resolve an issue and after many attempts I have left him no choice to purse the matter and my representative has to contact him by a certain time.  What a bunch of bull.  Before the call from today at the 800 number it was 866-915-5209. Same message.  Today he finally left a name and said he was with Global.  I have no idea what issue he talks about but talk about having issues this jerk has many.  Total scam.

recieved 2 messages (both the same prerecorded message) form a josh balmer.  the number was 1-800-563-4929.  i looked it up and it was for global credit/collection.  the message was threatening and nondescript.  i called the number back but was on hold for awhile, and i hung up.  i've been reading how this is all a scam.  we don't owe any money, sooooo, if i'm really missing something here, which i'm not, then josh can just call me back or i'll tell my "representative" to contact him directly so my "situation" does not "escilate." lol

I have received the same calls and I have returned the calls each time asking to speak to Josh Balmer.  I am transfered to a Nichole Mitchel and I provide no infornation to her.  I also use the same tone as the message Josh Balmer leaves and she hangs up on me.  When I call back they refuse to transfer my call unless I identify myself.  I do not identify myself and they hang up.  Thry also reefuse to provide any info.  Do not fall for this scam.  Do not provide any information.

Don't call them back. Report it to the Better Business Bureau. It is a SCAM! They are preying on unsuspected people. DO NOT GIVE them any personal info!They'll get tired of calling... probably move on to their next victim.It is a SCAM!!

The guy I spoke to was a total a-hole. He was yelling at me that I must be "hiding" something if I wouldn't give him my name, although he would not tell me who he was or what the company does. Oh...that must be the place where idiots go to work since they can't function in society. Everyone needs to make money...right?

Some guy by the name of John Smolder called and said that I have not established contact with their company concerning a very important manner.  My options for settling this matter expire on 9/17/09 at 3:00 p.m.  He identified himself as John Smolder.  I was to call back at 1-800-563-4929- extension 8724.  Very nasty and it sounded like a recording. This call came from a 416 area code with no number or ID.  Did not identify company.  Did say that it would be his last communication with me since I have not answered any of their calls (?)Last evening at about 8:15 p.m. I received a similar call -same voice but it was from 1212212212 which is a not a real telephone number.  No identification of the company and similar message.They called my cell phone at the same time that they were calling my home telephone number.  I am on a DNC list - who are these people?????  This is out and out harassment - they need to be stopped.  If the call is coming from a 416 number - which is in Canada, whoever they are - are they allowed to call you without identifying what they want, who they are, and who they represent?  I am becoming unglued and tired of the calls that make no sense at all hours.

I have also gotten calls from this number (3 in 4 days)  and from 1800 5634949  from Josh somebody  with a very threatening unpleasant call.. almost same script as above.   Called back to try to reach someone to tell them to quit calling, they have no reason for calling, etc.. stayed on line for about six minutes listening to robo voice about how important my call was.. finally hung up.

I've gotten 3 or 4 calls from this number in the last month, demanding I call this number to resolve a matter, and that I have to call immediately if I want to resolve it voluntarily. The voice said his name was Josh Volmer (or something close to that) and never said what the matter was about or who he was working for.

No caller ID but left a message with this phone number. Some woman giving me hell about not returning her calls. She said she'd phoned my work and my mother. Neither knew of a call for me. Said if I didn't call her back immediately she would be sending 'something' but I couldn't figure out what.
