says last name right but not me i dont owe money to anybody
they call and don't say anything...it is annoying
Automated partial message, then ****-up. 10 calls in one week.
Caller ID says this is an 800 service number. Auto dialed, left a recorded message for the Scotts. Message said they are a collection agency. We are not the Scotts. Anna and Steven Scott have been arrested in the state of Montana for ID theft and a number of other crimes. We used to get collection calls for them a couple years back and now it seems it's s****ing a***n.
They call ALL THE TIME - We have no debt owed and it drives us crazy. I followed the suggestion above and filled out an on-line complaint. It is fast and easy and everyone should do it EVERY TIME they call. "Report them to the FCC using their easy-to-use "FCC Consumer Complaints" page. The more people that do it, the faster they are investigated for their tactics (especially with the ridiculous number of false-positives coming from their automated dialers). Just do the following (1) select "Telemarketing, Prerecorded Messages and Do-Not-Call", (2) select "'Abandoned Calls' ('Silent Calls,' 'Dead Air Calls' from a telemarketer) and 'War Dialing' received on your residential or business telephone", and (3) fill out the provided online form."
