This is nuts, yes this is true i was charged on oct19 $90.00 on my amex and the statement shows- rogerswl 1 time 800 565 6009 ON. i tried calling this number and it says number is disconnected then nov 26 same thing $92.00 with the  rogerswl 1 time 888 etc .Rogers will investigate , amex is also aware and the fraud department will investigate .Rogers will investigate spoke with the manager also have a case number and they will contact me within 72 hours. Today is first day we will see!!People please call rogers and amex to dispute so they will see how many people they are calling in to complain . Hope i dont get charged at end of month.check ur statements all the ti*****anks

I got a call from the Rogers fraud department indicating that someone had put through three charges of $99.99 each on September 15th.  Interestingly enough, I called Rogers the same day regarding an issue with my phone bill.  It seems that the Rogers CSR used my account information to his advantage by placing charges a***nst my credit card, knowing my account was a business account.  I complained to Rogers Customer Care and the Office of the President.  The credit card in question has been cancelled, which is a major headache in itself.  Rogers is investigating, as they have told others.  When asked if they would reverse charges, they only replied "only if the charges are deemed fraudalent".  Their fraud department deemed the charges fraudalent already as they were made in Quebec (and I'm on the other side of Ca***a), so I don't understand why all the notes on my account weren't communicated to other team members.  They also denied the charges were placed on September 15th, which is what my credit card statement shows (transaction and posting date are the same) -- even though someone from their fraud department already confirmed this.  Now I have to wait for them to send me an affadavit to sign and send back (both from Rogers and the credit card company).

Got charged on my Amex 146.59 by that fraud company. I cancel the card. I encourage others to do the same.

Just noticed 3 charges on my master card account from this number.  charges for 16.61, 107.32 and 296.50.  Hopefully disputing will get them cancelled.

I too just had my credit card scammed for $399. The 800-565-6009 is a phone number to Rogers Cellular, a legit phone number and company whos head office is in Ontario, Ca***a. The number listed before this toll free number is SUPPOSED to be the account number the charge was put through on. These accounts, according to Rogers Cellular, are fraudulent accounts and do not exist. When I called they said they've closed that account now that they were made aware that it did not exist. They are investigating, so they say, and I had to cancel card and hope that my credit card company will reverse the charges. Rogers Cellular phone rep told me I should also contact my local police department for more help.They say my card was compromised, yet I rarely use it and when I do I'm very aware of my surroundings. I don't think Rogers asked for my CVR code on the back of the card when these charges were applied because I don't how anyone could have obtained it. Personaly, I think Rogers Cellular is more responsible for this than they will admit yet now I have to wait 60-90 days for MY credit card company to hopefully fix. I don't even have my cell phone with Rogers.....and of course never will now!

I just got charged $1211 Aust Dollars on my credit card from this mob.  Showed up on statement as "RogersSWL 1TIME 800-565-6009 CA".  Immediately reported it to my bank who have cancelled my account and issued new card.  They are now looking into the matter.  Have no idea how they got my details

I also had a charge for  $200.37  IDed s  Rogers  - called credit card number, they gave me 800-565-6009  and I got message saying unavialable from your area,   zip code provided - 60581 does not existSo it appears to be a fraud.  Chase credit card person said it was a foreign charge.

Same here,Someone thought it would be funny to fraud me for 400$ December 24! Two times of 199$ I live in Ca***a and know Rogers. When I call the number, they say it well be soon swept away and gives me an other number but unfortunately the fraud department is off today. I called my CC provider and they will send me fraud protestation papers. I must precise that for me there is no PYGO next to Rogers. Only Rogers-the id of the transaction- the number we all tried to call.And sorry for my english, it's not my first language.

You're lucky.  My son's credit card was charged $700.00 by this company and we are definitely disputing the charges.

I found  a Rogers charge in my credit card statement.I have found the same problem as others. I called Mastercard and Rogers company to find out who has used my credit card.

Rogers Wireless is a Ca***ian Cell Company.  Ca***ian customers are are also finding fraudulent charges on their CC statement.  There is a Rogers charge with PYG code and a charge for around $50 plus other charges that can be in the thousands.  My secondary charge was for an Antler  Chandelier that cost $2200.91. This number shows on my bank statement with charges for $541.57 all I can find out so far is the number no longer works, it gives a funny busy signal and I am having to spend my time going to the bank to file fraudulant charge papers!

Four charges on my credit card to Rogers*PYGO totaling 200 dollars, US, additionally another company named Digital River charged my account over 600 dollars.  I suspect these are related scams---

This company illegally placed charges on my credit card, totalling $50.32, which includes a $1.45 foreign transaction fee.Apparently, someone overseas has stolen my credit card number, and expiration date, and are using it to make fraudulent charges.  The name "ROGERS" appeared next to the 800-565-6009 phone number on my credit card statement.Gotta love the s*** in the world who do this st*&uff.

I did not receive a call from this number, only 3 fraudulent charges on my debit card.  Did some other research and found quite a few other people experiencing this same situation.  It is a wireless company from Ca***a, and I had three hits of just under $50 each on my account.  I am in the middle of disputing these charges at this time.  WATCH YOUR ACCOUNTS!!!!!!

I received two charges on the same date in the amount of $49.81 on my credit card. I have no idea who this company is or what the charges are for. On my credit card statement it gives this phone number, however, when I call it is continuously busy. We are in the process of disputing the charge and the credit card company is investigating.
