Leave a CommentLeave messages on my voice mail saying they are trying to collect a debt. When I called back a lady refused to name the company she was collecting for. Seems like I am not the person they need.
Got several calls from this number while at work and didn't answer until today. They have never left a message and the guy gave me some serious at***ude about how my citigroup card is past due $130 and that he was going to take down my routing number and bank account number. I don't have a citi card and none of my accounts are past due that I am aware of.
Thanks so much for taking your time to help people who are not aware that these calls are illegal. Your link to budhibbs site should help many pepole. Lets continue to spread the word about these s*** ***s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Run down to Radio Shack and buy yourself a recording device and help stop these law breaking s*** of the earth collectors..
i dont own a car, why r they calling me
I'm telling you, these are loosers. They are people that are not educated enough to get a good job so they have to work at collection agencies. How sad that they don't have the ambition to go on with their life and pursue worthwhile careers.
I called the number back and it was in fact Bank Of America..They also have a 716, and 216 number
I have been getting the same message as Rico above for months. The last name is mine, but the first name is noone I have ever heard of. I usually just let the ma****e pick up the call, but today I answered and still just got a recording.
this number keeps calling and leaves no message
Dell keeps calling even after you have made your payment!
This guy gave me a call. Said his name was Rich Dawson and he was an investigator. Claimed that I owed some money from 1991..16 years ago and that if I didn't pay he was going to subpeona me and send me to jail. Go figure that the only way I could pay was by was sending him a Post office Money Order (Can't put a stop payment on these) AND send it express mail. What a Joke.
I also have been called numerous times/day this week from this number. I too have several WFNNB accounts which I pay on line and on time every month probably for over 10 years! I have no idea why they are calling but I am glad to find out who the mysterious number belongs to. I think it is annoying and that if they just left one message it would be nice!
Rec'd call on my cell phone, missed the call, no message.
- constantly during the day
WHO IS THIS?? They arre consistent..been getting the calls on and off for about a month.
I get a phone call from a collection place called Reliiant. It comes on my caller ID as unavailable 452-6097. The lady on the phone tells me of my bill and tells me that I need to get a job, this is even after I tell her i am disabled due to a complicated surgery I had a year ago. She tells me a***n that I need to get a job or why don't I get a real job. I told he many times before that when I can get the money it will be paid, she then tells me that I need to s**** going to look for a job. Are collectors allowed to call and hownd people like that. If not can I report them on her phone manor, it is the same lady all the time.
Who is this number? I didn't answer and when I call back it says financial services and nothing more. I can't return the call and I don't know who they are. I see that they have called me before on my call log.
FOr the last 6 months, I have received calls from Wyndham Professionals. They acknowledge the person they are looking has a different name and SS#. However, they continue to keep calling and today at 8 am on Sa****ay 10/20 they left another message. I told them a***n last night at 9 pm that they have the wrong person and my number is on the do not call list. I am looking for information on how to file a harrassment suit in Florida a***nst a debt collector who knowingly continues to call the wrong person. I have no outstanding debts and never c****ed my name, so they don't have a leg to stand on..This is pure harassment!!!
receive calls several times per hour from the following number, I know no one with this number
This number called me 7 times today for the wrong person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so angry!!!
Called at 8:25am, long pointless voice message with no description of caller or intent of call.
This number 1 keeps calling my cell phone. The caller id always comes up unknown caller, and the number. They do not leave a message, and it is very annoying..The calls come in at all times of the day and night..Sometimes I even have to cut my cell phone off.
i got a call today at home. Person said they were an operator with an important call and to hold. Put on hold and nothing happened.
Receive at least two call a day from this number. No caller ID only number displaying. They do not leave message. Have never conducted business with bill me later. They called today at 7:30 am.
Earlier today I received a phone call from the Law Office of Scott Lowery. When I called them to find out the nature of the call, the person who answered the phone told me that he was unable to bring up my file. After I was transferred three times, I finally reached the individual who left me the message. I tried asking why his law firm called me but he refused to tell me until I gave my social security number. We went back and forth for several minutes on the phone. He grew increasingly upset because I would not give my social security number until he finally ***g up the phone.
keep getting call and no response when I pick up.
These people have been calling for the last year, every now and a***n. They have now s****ed to call at 7:30 AM!!!
have been getting these calls for more than a month; irritating of course. I COMPLAINED TO https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx IF ENOUGH PEOPLE COMPLAIN, HOPEFULLY THIS HARRASSMENT WILL STOP. Was surprised to google this number and see so many people complaining
Been calling every few days for a number of weeks. Does not leave a message.
i have never talked to anyone it is on my caller id when i get home. when i try to call back i get a recording saying the number can not be reached
If you call the number back it is for discover card, don't know why they are calling me I don't even have one
this was a call from a doctor's office trying to confirm an appointment.
Called them back, turns out someone had given them a false number to call, as they didn't even have MY name. I told the lady to take my number out of the system because I have no debts. The lady had a very thick NY accent. The business address listed by the guy above me is probably correct.
I pretty much get the same as all of the above..it is always "Hi, this is Timothy, please press 1 to receive an important message" or please call me at 1-888..I don't know the rest of that number. Calls come in early, late, weekends. When I call back it I get the same **** as all of the above too.. Timothy can stick it!
they call a dozen times a day .. never leave a message. I'm getting really irritated.
Call from them on 95/07
I received a call yes****ay from them. I don't know who they are and how they got my cell phone number. I hope they don't intend on calling 10 times a day, like I am reading here. That would **** and **** me off.
found this site that talks about them http://www.budhibbs.com/debtcollectorpages/redline_recovery_services.htm Yikes
Got a call with a long silence. As I ***g up a woman s****ed calling. I called back and found it was a collection agency wanting to speak to "Mary Moody". This has happened before to us with this name (completely unkown name to us). If they continue to do this report them to the FCC.
I got a message left in voicemail from them also. They probably buy debts for pennies on the dollar and try to collect. It could be about a debt more than 15 years ago, I don't know. But that would be way past the statute of limitations (SOL). Sometimes these places may try to trick people into paying or try to make them feel guilty, when the debts have expired. They may even try to put it on your credit record (happened to me once) but it is illegal. A credit counselor once told me, don't try to call a credit about an old debt as the contact could res**** the SOL period.
keeps showing up on my caler ID. I answered and each time they called me by name and said they have my Visa # on file. I stop them there. I told them that I work for a bank and they do not have my Visa # on file and that they are going to ask me to verify the number so they can make transactions a***nst my account. I said this is harrassment and could you please stop? his time a girl said, "since you said please, yes. ma'am. Have a good day. Then she ***g up. Imagine that.
