Leave a Commentcalling from victorias secret regarding my past due account
I know this is a year later, but this also happened to me!! In addition to calling the FTC, call the BBB. The BBB has them rated at an A+. Unbelievable.
got this call today i didn't answer caller left a message claiming to be from the world bank representing victoria secret and left this number to call back 800 695 7020 sounds like a scam i think they called along time ago then they stopped
The message left on my ma****e said they were calling from National Bank about Victoria Secret and left this # to call. When I called the # got a recording asking for account # and ss#.
After getting these annoying recorded calls I figured I would give then a call back. I was actually able to get through to someone after entering the wrong soc and last 4 digits of my phone number. (Pressing 0 gets you nowhere) When the rep got on and asked for my account #, I said "we're bypassing right to the phone number" ...gave her the number and explained to her I don't have an account to please stop calling me. She looked it up and asked if I was Lisa and I told her no.. I just got the number, it was cell and every time they call me it wastes minutes..I was very "matter of fact" with her. She was actually nice about it...I may have been a bit stern but I didn't want the bs anymore.Just be****ertive. If anything, call back at another time and hope to get a nice person who's more receptive to helping you.
So I get a phone call every day nearly from a blocked number leaving a message stating that they are from Victoria Secret and to call them back at this number 1-800-695-7020. I just got my phone number and I don't have an account so after a month + of getting these messages I took it upon myself to call the number to let them know that the person they are trying to reach does not belong to my number and to please stop calling me. The phone number leads to an automated promt that sounds much like the actual Victoria Secret number (I called to report the activity to the number on the VS website). You can't bypass the automated phone promts. Your options 1) to put in your account number or 2) enter your social security number. I put in a fake social security # to bypass and talk to an operator... The woman who answered refused to remove my number from the call list because I refused to provide her with my name and social security number. I told her that it was rediculous that she needed that information and asked to speak to the superviser. The call was then dropped. No surprise.I called back a***n, it was the same lady. I asked her to please spell her name and give me her operator number. She ***g up.Called back a third time. The woman c****ed her voice and tried to sound like a man saying "This is (Name) accounts manager... thank you for holding." I told the "guy" are you joking and asked them a series of questions that left the woman forgetting and revealing her "original" voice. I told them that I would report their number. You should do the same.1) Contact your phone company and make them aware.2) Put your phone number on the Do Not Call list 1-888-382-1222. If you still get calls from "Victoria Secret" you know it's a scam. (Which this number you are asked to call back most certainly is).3) Contact the Federal Trade Commission 877-382-4357 and report any information you may have. Also, some phone companies offer a call trace option. I got tired of the getting all the phone messages on my voice mail I let it get full, but this hasn't stopped the caller with this message from calling me s****ing 8am. *69 didn't work to identify the # because the phone number is blocked. Ask your phone carrier for the call trace command.*57 for some phone carriers works it traces the orgin of the number (if possible) and reports it to the phone company and law enforcement.Next time you get a call from these ***ps *57 the call and report them!I gave my number to these people so hopefully I will stop getting a call from them!! At the same time, I hope they can't find any other information from my phone number.Btw - you may or may not know that google keeps a phone book. Try typing your phone number into a google search. You may be surprised to find your name and address attached to your phone number and revealed. You can request that google remove this information. If your phone # is published with your address in the white pages, it most likey is posted on the internet.

A Private Number keeps calling my cell phone leaving a message that is cute off with this phone number 8006957020. When I call the number they don't say who they are but they ask for an account number or a social security number--and I'm not that ******. I have a Victoria Secret credit card but it does not owe any money. Should I be worried that they have more information than my cell phone number??
I got the same "call regarding Victoria's Secret credit card, please call this 800-695-7020 number back. Glad I didn't enter any information when I called. It's a scam I'm sure.
Same thing happens to me as it's happening to other ladies. I believed that it was for one of employees here since it comes to office main number. It is really irritating. I wonder this site could help stop them from calling us in teh future.
They said they were "calling about Victoria's Secret credit card. please call back" It was a recorded message - no one on the other end. The she left this number. When I called back, they asked me to input my social security number. I ***g up.
This number calls my phone almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I have never answered it because I rarely answer 1-800 numbers who call me because they are always a scam. They called my mom, whom I no longer live with and asked for my new number but wouldn't tell her who they were when she asked them. They said they needed to "collect" from me. Sounds sketch. Don't answer this number.
Claims we owe Victoria's Secret and New York & Co money. Calls ten times a day.
