Leave a CommentThis caller left a message on my answering ma****e. They said that the call was not a sales promotion, but that they needed to talk to me about a business matter.
Left a message on my answering ma****g. Identified themself as World Financial Bank. They said it was not a sales call, but that it was a business matter that they needed to talk to me about.
Message identified call as coming from "World Financial Network National Bank". "This is not a sales call, please call us at 800-695-7152". I didn't call back because others online have reported you are asked for your SS# when you do. An obvious scam. Do NOT respond to this call. 5-21-09
1-800-695-7152 is the number for World Financial Network National Bank. They are a lender that backs retail stores like Eddie Bauer.
Caller came up private name, private number, left message saying it was an important message from my bank asking to call 1-800-695-7152 concerning a personal matter. Checked it out on line and found others su****ious of this number as well. did not call caller back.
World Financial Bank says to call about a business matter and gives the above phone number.
Computerized message identified themselves of World Financial Group and that it was important that I return the call and that this is not a sales call. When I called the #, I was asked for my social security number ... yeah right, in today's world of identify theft I would give out my SS # to an unknown??? you've got to be kidding.
I got this call - it came up "Unknown number"... I returned the call and got an automated system asking for an account number...since I didn't know who was calling I choose 2 (don't have it) and then they ask you to enter your SSN! no apparent way to reach a human... decided it was a scam and then went to google to check it out... unbelievable what people do these days.. and with the credit *****down we're all on the defensive
The message is a lady with a brittish accent saying that it is "world financial bank" and that you need to call this number. From other complaints i have read, when you call the number they ask for your ss # and some say they want $20. It is a scam.
Message came in as "Unknown Caller". The call went to my voicemail. They did not identify their organization or company but left a message that it was not a telemarketer but an urgent matter and the 800 number to call back. When I called the number it was a recording and they did not say what ins***ution it was but asked for my account number or if I didn't have my account number to key in my social security number. There was no options for 0 to talk to someone. No matter what you keyed the recording kept requesting my social security number to procede. If this is a legitmate ins***ution, they need to say who they are and have options to talk to someone. Only a fool would blindly key in their personal information before they know who they are giving it to.
They called and ask for me to enter my social security number, when a company can not hire a person to speak to you theres so****ing wrong.
The computerized message identified themselves as World Financial Group and it was important that I call. Said that this is not a sales call blah blah blah.
Phone call I received was a bad computerized recording indentifying themself as Wells Financial Network Nat'l Bank - NOT a sales call - request my return response. Not enough info to convince me. The most extreme BAD attempt, I've ever encountered, of a scam!
