Leave a CommentFrom "BCBS-Texas" with my husband's name as the policy holder. 1st - we don't have BCBS-Tx, and 2nd, he isn't the policy holder. Treatment Center is also listed as "ourcity Emergency Center" (and yet, that's not the name or DBA name). Tells us to "contact Equian immediately to review treatment info, determine whether the services are the result of an accident or injury caused by another party"
subrogation unit - they want to sue someone to recover fees paid on your behalf and they are demanding information in order to do it. Funny, our claim was due to arthritis and there's ***ody to sue, but they say there is. Whatever.
I received 2 letters on behalf of BCBS, too. I looked up Cheri Hall's business background and employment information, and she appears to work for a company in Indiana, not Kentucky. It certainly appears to be another form of **iden***y theft,** to me. BCBS already have my health card number, so this doesn't make any sense. The signature and letter I received both look very fake. The company name on the letter and Cheri's current employer on Zoominfo.com do **not** match up.In addition, for similar situations in the past like this one, BCBS sent me a form and return envelope with their letter head.
I did not get a phone call; however, I received a letter supposedly from Healthcare Recoveries indicating they represent Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois. They expect me to call them at 800-696-4573 and give them my health care information from my insurance card. *** CHANCE!!! I intend on reporting them. The person's name signing my letter (not even a real signature) is Cheri A. Hall, Manager, Customer Service Dept. Blue Cross would contact me themselves if they had any questions. Not everybody just fell off the turnip truc****!!!!!
Called me on my cellphone. No message left.
