He calles me 6 times a day

VERY rude people!  Kept receiving calls from this number.  Finally answered when I could a few times and always got some weird message asking for several different people.  So, about 3 times that I actually did reach the phone and answer...the recording asked for a different name each time!!  I called a few times and asked for my number to be taken off their system.   Then after about the 4th time of requesting my number being removed...I get a call a***n!  I finally called a***n and demanded it be removed immediately!   These people are horrible and why are these companies allowed to operate like this with such RUDE reps!!   Wish there were more things to do.

I received a text message on my phone to give Chantel a call at 800 773 1092. So I called the number and it went to music. Who are these people and why are they texting me? Do these people have that right? Besides that how much am I going to get charged for a text message!

I received a call form 866-541-7265.  The message was to return a call to Richard at 800-773-1092 ext. 4330.  I returned the call.  It was answered by Celina, and I asked for the extension.  Richard answered and called me by name (extension or caller ID?)  He then told me he was with Collect Corporation and he was calling in reference to a delinquent J.P. Morgan account.  When I told him that I never had done business with JPM, he asked for my last 4 social which I did not give.  He asked if I lived in a particular state and I said yes. Then he asked if I lived in a particular city in the state and I did not.  He then asked if my middle initial was a particular letter and I said no.  He then told me that he had the wrong person and would purge my phone number form the data base.  Within two minutes he called my number back telling me that it was a different number than what was in the data base.  I do not believe these guys do their homework.

The number is one of Collectcorp's numbers it is used by the Chase Bank Credit card Dept. They have computer programs which will give them a list of phone numbers (family, neighbors, employers) Collectors are alllowed to call these people if they have NOT been able to contact you, and only to verify current address. Collectors will use loopholes to try and pry information out of a nosey neighbor or concerned family member. Do not let Mr. Qureshi intimidate you, or any of them for that matter, they work for commission on dollars collected so they'll do whatever they have to because the base salary is ****. They are a legit company who is very good at breaking the FDCPA and not getting caught for it.

I asked this company to remove me from their calling list. I have outstanding credit and FICO.I am now filing the complain because they failed to remove my number and I am on the Do Not Call List as well.

Had a call this morning.  Let the "number you have dialed has been disconnected" message ma****e process the call.  Suspect it was CollectCorp, they have been hounding me as I am out of work and have no money and they called from a different # on Sa****ay morning as well.  Have new box for under $3 to eliminate them from calling.

Donielle called looking for my son who no longer lives at home. She insisted that she be allowed to leave a message even after I told her he no longer lives here. She said it was about an application he had submitted to her agency but didn't give a name. She called 2 more times the same day, after I told her he did not live here. They called a***n today. What do you have to do to make them stop?

Yes, they are debt collectors.  If your in a situation where you are not the person they are seeking & they continually keep calling you I would send them a certified letter stating what the situation is and I would inform them that if this continues you will have to seek legal action.  The people that are calling you are very aggressive and work on comission; they have no mercy.  You need to deal with the higher ups.They try to use intimidation ****ods to get you to call them; they might state that they will call your work or come to your house etc.  The legality of it depends on state to state but usually it is not legal for someone to call your work or come to your house, it can be seen as harras*****t even if you do owe a company money.Hope this helps everyone :)

They appear as Central Financial Control.  Also have called us numerous times in spite of being told that the person they are looking for does not live here and being asked to remove us from their call list.  Next step is a legal complaint through the Federal Trade Commission as the sponsor of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act

my issue with this company is not only do they keep calling my number they have repeatedly been told that the person whom they seek does not have this number. I have been plagued with calls for this person the entire 6 years I have had this number. obviously the person they are looking for is the previous owner of this number and I block the unwanted caller numbers with call intercept to no avail. When I tell them I am not who they seek they never believe me and call anyways using a new fake number to get through. this really stinks- And I am very frustrated. I don't know what my rights are or what else to do.

Its a debt collector. They are listed as possible abusive debt colletion agency

Got a phone call, and they would not identify who they were.  Said they sent a letter today and that I should get it in a couple of days.  I think I am going to wait for the letter.

I have received numerous call from 800-773-1092. They wont leave a message and when I call them back they tell me its illegal for them to give out their business name so I tell them if its illegal for them to give me their business name then its illegal for me to talk to them and **** up. Who are these people.
