Well ,maybe you should call them & ask what it's for. I don't understand why people post stuff like this & don't try to resolve the issue, for all you know it could be a wrong # & they'll never know because you didn't call back! Unbelievable

Y'know madre, 9 times out of 10 people who say they have a receipt should fax that proof to the people calling them. If you can't do that then you don't have proof. I love it when people cry about validation of debt. The majority of people who get these letters toss them in the garbage anyway. I've even seen people sent certified letters only to not accept them and claim they never got anything. Even though it says refusal to accept on the validation receipt sent back to the company. If you don't at least fax them proof and it ends up on your credit then you have to deal with that. Going through the hassle of contacting the credit beureau to have it removed, only if the agency decides not to validate the debt, in most cases if it is a valid debt they will validate it. and if you can't prove otherwise then you're *****'d

Very rude guy from this company keeps calling and threatening to only hold the account for 24 hours.  Called back and explained that I returned the instrument to the company and have a receipt in hand to prove it.  He said I was a liar and that I owed over $600.00!!  I said no I do not owe that money.  He said you have two minutes, that's it to make a payment to me or we will sue and you will go to jail for theft!  I said listen I have a receipt, send me valadation of this debt, and I will send you a copy of the receipt to prove it is paid for!  He then said you have two minutes or you are going to jail and then ***g up!  What an a**hole!!!  What kind of idiot won't listen to the fact that I have a receipt in hand!!!  I shouldn't expect that an idiot like him, stuck in a dead end, shi**y, low paying job should be any smarter though!!!

Allen Lewis and****ociates doesn't have an automated phone recording. It was someone who asked for you. Maybe you should respond when they call and not just **** up like the debtors you are. Maybe you should call them back if they butcher your name.

some automated voice keeps leaving me messages that this has been a do***ented attempt to contact me and myself or my attorney should contact them promtly, it is in my best interest to contact them at 1-800-773-5322. and then at the end of the call says...we wish you luck.well let me tell ya so****ing you rude a**hole, if you read this quit harrassing me and all of these other people. If we have a so called bill owed, have an actual human bein with some respect, mannersm and consideration make the call. Otherwise shove it up your a**......and learn how to*****ounce my name

JW Lomax called asking for myself or my attorney, left messages with my children. I returned the call, they were very rude to me and wouldnt even actually speak with me, just said I owe money for a violin from 7 yrs ago. I said no that was returned to the school, he said "No ****** it wasnt" "What ****** person would return it to the school" I said um that is where the violin was returned to. He yelled at me and said I was going to jail and ***g up. I thought about for about 15 minutes and realized that the bow was damaged when it was returned, thinking maybe that was what I owe for and called back. I asked him not to yell or call me names and explained the above. He then told me "I was ****** and needed to pay for being an idiot" then said "I wouldnt let you pay this if you wanted to". Not once did he say I appoligize for this information do you have a copy of the return or say without this you owe **xamount of money. What is the saying you get more flies with honey????? I wish they would go to court, would love to face them!!!!!!

Actually Lexis-nexis is a search program, and even if their information is inaccurate (which it is sometimes) it doesn't mean they've purchased any debt. Allen Lewis is 3rd party collections, they don't buy debt they just collect old debts. That are legitimate, and unless you have paperwork proving you resolved it, you're gonna owe the bill. This applies to all collection agencies. Regardless, it's a legitimate company. They've had some pretty s***bag tactics in the past but they are up to code now from what I've heard.

Got a voice mail from these guys. They sound like debt collectors. They were looking for an individual named Moniqua? Please call her and don't bother other individuals with the bad information you purchase from people like Lexix-Nexis or other debt services.
