DON'T give them an account number! The number is asking for you to enter your account number, which is obviously so****ing you should not do. I am in the banking profession. This IS a Scam. Bank of the Cascades said their phones are ****ing up with people calling about it.
I wrote a check to TJ MA** and it was returned by my bank ONCE then it came back and was PAID. They are trying to get $25 for the first time. I have never heard of this and am waiting to hear from TJ MA** about this. If the check was not paid the 2nd time then yes I wuild pay the $25 but not when TJ MA** was already pd. Received charges from this company on our credit card totaling $365.00. I was not aware of any approval for this charge so s****ed investigating. It has been two weeks so far of calling (getting nothing but an answering ma****e) and emailing with nothing more than an automated response. I then went to the web to google them. Turns out they are www.localpull.com. I have tried every contact ****od I can find so far. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. My next step is to contact my bank. I would strongly recommend not conducting any business or conversation with them. There seems to be a lot of mud on the web about them.
They claim to be a newspaper and magazine company and you've just won a free trip. After repeated calls at all hours of the day and many requests to remove me they continued to call. They even once told me they would not remove me from their list and they would just keep calling. UMA or VMA I think was the name of the company. They claim to be based out of Los***as but research from the internet on them appears that they are actually based out of Ca***a after some major trouble with the FTC due to this same behavior.
