Experian Got a call from Jayson saying he was from Experian credit hard and wanted to give me a 0 interest rate. He wanted to know when each of my credit cards expired, thats when I asked his name and phone number and ended up here. I am guessing this was a scam call.

These people are 'slammers' who will take your number and your money. Verizon needs to remove them from their list of 'resellers' if not, then we all need to complain to the FCC and then we need to file lawsuits. This is ridiculous that anyone can become a reseller for Verizon without any ethics. This is ruining Verizon's name. I have already left messages with this company warning them that they are on their way down. EVERYONE NEEDS TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FCC ON THIS COMPANY, TELSOURCE. We recently received our new telephone number after moving to a new area and it appears that the number used to belong to someone who has “skipped out” on a lot of debt. We have been receiving various telephone calls from a number of agencies. My “new hobby” is now responding to each of these companies and requesting that they update their records.
Howell &****oc. called me and said my ex sister-in-law gave them my number as a contact person and they were working on a settlement for her. I guess they figure I might want to call her up if I thought she was getting money. I have not seen my ex sister-in-law since 1996, and, therefore, I am sure she did not give them my number for a contact. Plus, I have since remarried and moved 700 miles away so there is no connection there whatsoever. I let these people know this and told them to remove my name from their list.
