Anonymous Received text that $175 had been charged to my Amexco card near my credit limit (which was correct to me) and to text HELP or STOP. Since I had just made a gas pump purchase I texted HELP and it responded to call 1-800-921-6490. I did and it was a digital call asking if I was calling on the last four numbers of my card and last four digits of my social. It responded that my account was in good standing and I could end the call. I immediately thought that is strange, so decided to check "verified" and here it is!! SCAM and feel so ****** I fell for it.!!! Should have checked Verified before calling. AAAGGGHHHHHH**!!!!

I recieved the same call from 201 255 8168 in UNION CITY, NJ by Mr. Bob Parker requesting for a donation to the NJ Police Officer's Foundation and informed me that it would go towards bullet proof vests for p.o. This loser has been harrasing me for a long time, I owe nothing or I could not have a checking account. She and the people that work for her are *****s. These people are idiots. They keep calling me and saying that I owe a debt of $50,000 and if I don't pay, I'll be taken to court and jailed. When I ask who I owe this debt to, they will not reveal this information to me and make up excuses as to why they cannot tell me. They always say they will put all the details in writing, but they never do because the truth of the matter is that there is no debt and they are harassing me for no legal reason. They've called me at least 20 times over the past 3 weeks and still cannot understand that I owe nothing to no-one. Everytime they call, it's a different person asking for the same amount. They don't identify where they're calling from, who they are or where I owe the debt. If they call a***n, I'll be reporting them to the DNC and the police for attempted fraud. I just wish they'd grow a ***in and attempt their scams elsewhere.

I called the number to ask about an ad I saw on craigslist for a one bedroom 1 bath condo in Lawrence that was too good to be true ($385/mo for 1400 Sq ft of luxury). They said they are a company called HR International based in Las Vegas that had lots of rental properties around the U.S. They asked for all my info and tried to get me to purchase a membership for their website over the phone ($1.95 for a week) so I could access details of that specific property including the current tenant for a showing. I backed out of the offer when they asked for my card number and told me I couldn't purchase it online, only over the phone. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
