Fake Verizon phishing scam. They increased the bait to $22 now. They called sequential numbers simultaneously. This is not a telemarketer; criminals trying to steal your login info do not care if you are on the do not call list. One tip-off is that they specifically ask you to login to their fake verizon account. I will not visit the page because the IP address of your device may be recorded and that could give them enough info to take their attempts to a higher and more sophisticated level...they would know where you are and may be able to get your name depending on how your IP is registered. They have autodialers calling large blocks of sequential numbers. Those that answer get the computer read message. It is not too sophisticated since the computer voice is a low-end text reader. This could be run from a basic PC.
Android User I do not answer numbers I do not recognize - a message was left but the robot leaving it began speaking at the beginning of my VM greeting so only the last few words were recorded.

Mark I just got a call like this. My caller ID said it was from Verizon, so I answered it. The # was 1-800-922-0204 and they said I was eligible for $130.00 off of my next bill if I log onto www.mybonus130.com, which I didn't do. The computer-generated voice was very deep and creepy and hard to understand.
