Leave a CommentCalled me twice on a non-published cell phone number and did not leave a message either time. Returned their call, Recording states IGF Energy and got 3 minutes of classical piano music then silence for the next 2 until I disconnected the call.
when i answer phone male voice asked how are you,i say fine,he ****s up.
I get calls at all times over a three day period and then it goes quiet for a month. I screen the ID so I never answer an 800 call. Although they are calling my cell phone, the Columbia or Interstate Gas caller identified earlier from other posts may be correct. I work in a ***nch office but our company profile and revenues could suggest we are a big plum for a gas customer. Interstate has called me before on this subject. I explained at that time we were a small office operation, not a gas customer.
Got a call from this number on Friday night, 1/12/11. Said my gas would still be billed from my utililty but signing up for this would lower gas cost - like a contracted flat rate. When I asked for information to be sent to me so I could investigate, woman said "you mean you don't want to enroll now?", I said no, not without confirming this as a legitimate situation, and she ***g up with no information to give me.
Caller ID read "800 Service" -- always su****ious, so I picked up and announced only "SPEAK".The caller requested to speak to the person who "pays the DTE gas bill". I immediately told him "NOT INTERESTED GOODBYE" and ***g up. I don't feel bad about it at all now that I read the history here.
They call one of our non-published numbers but when the auto attendant kicks in they **** up. They show up on my reports but no one talks to them. Gotta love the auto attendant.
It keeps call me as well-and no one answer****cept a prerecorded message and then the same classical piano music that finally ends and you get disconnected.
I keep getting calls from this number, over and over and a***n. There is never a mesage left on my answering ma****e.

They have been calling for months and months - every day - 4-5 times per day at times.I've asked them to stop. PLEASE STOP.
I told them that I have a natural gas well on my property and have an electric generater that supplies all my electric. I lied. I acyually live in 3 building apartment complex that has 28 apartments. It stopped the calls.
Persistant telemarketing from Interstate Gas wanting you to lock into a rate for your Columbia Gas account (FYI, their website says the rate is subject to c****e with the c****e in gas pricing). When I told the lady I wasn't interested and to remove my number, she refused to give up. After about the third time of saying remove my number and her continued persistance, I lost it. After calling her dense and a little swearing she finally stopped pursuing the matter. I hate to be so awful, but it seems that profanity is the only way to get your number removed these days. Telemarketers are like pit bulls and won't accept defeat. I've tried the nice route, but all that gets you is more unwanted calls.
No matter how many times you speak to a supervisor asking to be taken off the call list it NEVER happens!! Waste of time.
Hmmm, not sure why it doesn't ring for you. I was able to call it on August 10th, asked them to place me on the DO NOT CALL list, and I haven't had any calls since. Try a***n, maybe you dialed wrong? I just tried a***n to be sure, and sure enough it went through (to Interstate Gas).....Good luck! I know it is extremely annoying.
The same thing was happening to me. I called the number back, asked to speak to a supervisor, the guy didn't even transfer me, just asked if I was looking to be placed on the DO NOT CALL list, I said yes, he said it took 24 hours, haven't had a call from them since.
The owner of this phone number keeps calling our business in the evenings. They do not leave a message. When their number is called it goes to a blank - no rings, no tone. This company needs to stop calling our business immediately.

they called my work number and did not leave a message - saw the number on my caller ID and tried to call them back - twice. both times the call went through but was disconnected before the first ring. w***ver they are i'm pretty sure they don't have the consumers best interest at heart.
My number is unpublished and they called. Said it was regarding an "ongoing investigation." and asked for a Margaret.
