Leave a CommentRec'd an email about an account I don't have. Pretty sure it is a Fraud.
I have no Capital One accounts
They are now sending emails connected to capitalone bank cards.
Email has a fake reply-to address, just an added "s" to the server name. In our case it also came to a general-purpose email account for our organization. But it's definitely a convincing-looking email.
Received this today. Looks really good. No obvious errors but certainly not from CapitalOne.
This number showed up in a phishing email, claiming This is not a promotional e-mail. Please call us immediately at 1-800-931-1582 regarding recent activity on your Capital One Card Account. We're available 24/7 to take your call. But, it showed up at an email address used by the webmaster of a non-profit organization! So sorry, no card at this email address.
this number is in a phishing email using Capital One Bank's name and appearance.
Very convincing looking email, but it is a scam. It is not from Capitol One at all.

Scam artist trying to get my bank info for Capital One. I then got an email which showed it coming from St. Charles Housing Authority (stcha.org).
Number came in a fake e-mail from the capitolone credit card company saying I should contact them immediately re activity on my account
phishing for bank acount information.
This number is listed in a su****ious e-mail that appears to be "phishing" for personal account information suggesting it is calling credit card holders of Peoples National Bank (www.bankpnb.com). Although, it is not listed in the "contact us" page of that website.
