They sent me an email saying my TV was being delivered but it wasn't my address. I called the 800 number listed and the person that answered said "Thank you for calling Amazon, this is Jordan speaking". That's when I knew it was a scam to try to get my credit card number.
Stated that they were calling about charges on my account and claimed they were the cyber fraud department but when asked whom I was speaking with when rep came on phone they ***g up on me.

The later has listed 2 employees as Corporate Officers. Rebbeca Ballaor – Manager and Randy Plemens – Sales Manager. Guess what Rebecca and Randy, as officers of the corporation, you are on the hook personally for any Criminal misconduct and Civil complaints as well as any lawsuits filed a***nst the corporation weather you are a stockholder or not. If I were you, I would s**** consulting a laywer.

It's a company that poses as the Stanislaus County Bad Checks Res***ution Program in California and calls you to threaten with criminal prosecution as "outlined by the official notice". But the automatic voice message prompts you to stay on the line to make payment or "schedule class". Then she tells you to hold while they "retrieve your case info". (Based on what?)Remember, the only thing this company has on you is what is available in a public phone book, like the White Pages. So she comes back with "Our records indicate that case number blah-blah-blah belongs to someone by the name of (and here she s-p-e-l-l-s your last name as might be found on the phone book). If this is your name or case number, then press 1. If it's not correct press 2."Of course, I press 2 and what happens? They loop me back to "Our records indicate that case number blah-blah..."They just want you to press 2. But if you do, then they immediately tell you "To pay your charge press pound (#)."Assuredly, if you do that, they're going to charge your phone number account for so****ing you presumably ordered via phone and acknowledge with #.DON'T DO IT!!They're also calling from another 800-number: 800-931-9805. Same voice. Same message. But they're posing as the San Joaquin County Bad Checks Res***ution Program.Forewarned is forearmed.

Tried to get information on social security number or account number of Michael Galpin. They said there were 4 Michael Galpin numbers in Florida - I know this is not true.

800-931-9656 is a verified scam! This is a fake caller ID generated by a VoIP system. Their tactics is to call a business on different occasions trying to find as much information about who owns and manages is! it looks like they turn around and sale this information. By monitoring our caller ID we set them up and gave then wrong intel as well as our PO box rather then our office address. With is a matter of days we s****ed receiving mail and call asking for the fake individuals. Ladies and Gents this company is a SCAM be aware about disclosing valid information! I called the number back a***n, and all they give say is they are an answering service and don't know who the calls originate from. They wuoldn't give me the name of their answering service.

i couldn't get that answer from them until the second time of calling the number back. The woman wouldn't tell me who they were and what they do, just that they did a number of things. The guy on the second try though said they were a debt collections agency

Rec'd another call from them yes****ay March 10, 2009 from 866-315-7101, but did not notate the time of the call.I called Bank of America 3-way which had previously informed me that these were fraudulent calls. Now that I had a BofA rep on the line and a rep from the so called "Bank of America Insurance Services" the Bank of America rep told me that they couldn't confirm that it was fraudulent.The woman that said she was from the insurance department said that they were a 3rd party calling on behalf of Bank of America and that her company name is Global Contact Services.She said they were offering accident insurance for automobile accidents.I was then told that my number would be removed once and for all considering they have been calling for someone that is not me and that my phone is on the DNC and they shouldn't have called me to begin with.I'm going to be giving a call to Global Contact Services and the FTC to confirm all this.

Credit Card Scam. Account was charged $9.65 by World Trade. I called the number listed for World Trade, 1-800-931-8580, and a recording says: "the number you dialed is not in service at this time."
Rec'd an email about an account I don't have. Pretty sure it is a Fraud.
