Leave a CommentI made an appointment with them. Of course they had an address where I haven't lived for nearly 10 years! The local rep called to tell me that he would be there at 12:45pm. I said OK. The local rep was calling from a cell phone: 310-424-3170. It's my small way of getting back at the scammers. Unfortunately, I'm probably missing my opportunity to win the Ford Explorer and flat screen TV that I was promised. :-( The biggest problem is that
I never answer numbers I do not recognize. I read the comments and I am glad I did not answer
scammers and spammers should die!
Received call on my mobile phone at 2:55 PM (PST). Curious to know what it was regarding about and answered the phone, I answered in Spanish and the lady kept babbling about that I won my choice of a big screen TV, trip to the Ba*****, or 2500 dollars.... So I pretended that I did not understand and she proceeded to speak very slowly. I registered my number a couple of weeks ago to the "do not call" so I wont be making a complaint but sharing information here regarding the number. Definite telemarketer, I heard other people talking in the background.

"Leah" called our place of business. Said she was from "Federal Financial" and they had a scratch card drawing to give away prizes to publicize their business. I said they were free to mail us so****ing but we don't give out information on the phone on the basis of an unverified phone call. She kept talking over me and I ***g up.
Possibly a scammer looking for a mark. ****s up on voice mail without leaving a message.
sounds like a scam. they tell you your number has been chosen for a lottery ticket, then tell you you could win an suv, a trip, etc. I told them I was'nt interested,we'll see if they call back
Woman with broken English asked for an unintelligible name. She kept repeating the unintelligible name and then finally ***g up.
801-432-2126 keeps calling my business line. They call so many times that it fills up our answering ma****e with messages of ****ups, because they do not leave a message. I use this line to get work offers, so if I miss out due to them filling up our answering ma****e, I am out of business!!!! I am sick of the calls and we are on the National Do Not Call List!! They need to leave a message about what it is they are seeking or get off our line. If they do not, they are getting reported to every authority I can find, including the BBB.By the way, here is how to do that for the rest of you who may also be interested:http://www.ehow.com/how_5369586_report-bad-business.html
Said they were IMS and won a scratch card game. Trying to scam information.
I have received numerous calls from this organization on my cell phone in the past several weeks and they never leave a message. I finally called back today to discover who they were and plan to have them removed from their list.

so tired of these calls
received a call today from some woman talking about some scratch off ticket and prize...told her I was busy with customers, wanted time to look up info from someone who's probably trying to scam me for so****ing...Thanks for the info everyone!
They try to mimic IRS by calling from UTAH.
I received this call today. I couldn't understand the woman. She aksed to speak to someone, but I had her repeat the name twice, and then told her that she had the wrong number.
and by themselfs I mean themselves lol
Just got this call today at work. They identified themselfs as the Federal Financial Group and wanted to get my information for a 'free prize' I'd won. I explained the I'm just the receptionist for my company and they rattled off my company information and said not to 'worry cause the prize is applicable to anyone within my company' and that if I gave them my information I could accpt it as my own. Which I thought was sketchy so I asked why they would give the 2,500, the Ford, the Cruise, or the flat screen TV to a measily receptionist? They said they were opening a location near us and just wanted to get their name out there... I explained that giving me a prize or 'gift' really wouldn't help them but they were very determined to get my information. As soon as I I let them know I wanted their info to look up online the man with the asian accent suddenly couldn't hear me clearly and promptly disconnected. Odd if you ask me.

Keep getting calls for Patricia A McVeigh about outstanding debt from not paying her CC bill. I don't know this person.
IMS for Federal Financial Group offering scratch card promotion for qualified individules. Prize: Ford Explorer, $2,500, Flat-screen TV or vacation/cruise. I told her I couldn't answer questions for the business, offered to direct her to our mangagement but she said its not a sales call (like a million times) just updating contact information for her group. She had an asian accent, and talked quickly. I tried to call back after I googled the scam, but no answer.
Same script as many of the above; although says Utah, this was a woman trying to cover a heavy foreign accent says she is with IMS calling for Federal Financial Group - asks for manager, promises sure winning of prizes (cruise, money, Ford) nothing to buy, no worries! More than likely a call center in India.
so i actually went through the appointment setting process from this number dispite what the caller sounded like A nice local came to my door with a scratch card and had a speach that lasted about 20 min and left me with the gift and an invitation to call him if i needed help planing for the future ect,,, i have yet to claim my trip.
Caller ask for a certain someone by name. I said they are not here can I help you. And the caller ****s up on me.
asked to speak to manager, I asked who's calling, she mumbled ....finance. Told her she had wrong number and stop calling. Last time she led me down path of asking for name and social security #. **** up on this **** immediately if you get a call. Scam of some kind.
Asked for me by first name or one of the managers. Said they were calling from IMS and it was a scratch card promotion. received a call from the same caller a week ago - i recognized the voice - asking to verify name and address in order to send me so****ing.
They have called almost daily, I do not recognize the number or the company so I do not answer the call. I have an answering ma****e and they do not leave a message.I do not wish to receive any calls from this number ever.
I also got a call from this VERBINATOR looser. Who is this ********? Have you Googled this "Matt Verbin" ? This guy is everywhere causing troubles. He has all kinds of police reports stemming from fraud, ripping off charities to running around in bathrobes smashing windows and****ulting people with adult toys!
Annoying calls, doesn't leave message!
The caller wanted to know if I "was home alone" when I said I was the babysitter. Creepy.

I don't think they are located in Utah. He did ask for me by name - I told him "they" weren't in. We are also on the do not call list.
rude and hard to understand with their heavy accent.

Unsolicited telemarketing call--- asked for step-son prior to asking for me. Said we have won a scratch card givaway-- I told he to shove it. I am on the national no call list!
They have called over 20 times and **** up when I answer.
This # called our medical laboratory A***N, but as soon as we ID our selves as a lab, they **** up without a word said.
Today, this number called a***n. They have reached an apartment complex. We have no relationship with this # and we are on the do not call list. Can this # be shut down?
Supposedly from Federal Financial Group. Have no idea how they got my name & number. When I asked she just kept giving me the same b.s. over & over. She wanted me to give my physical address since the one they have on file is my PO BOX. I told her "no way". She said they would meet me where ever I felt comfortable. I kept asking how they got all my info but she just kept saying the same thing (a "representative" obtains the information). I could also hear someone in the background telling her what to say the whole time. I finally just told her no & ***g up.
The number has come across before, and I keep ignoring it. They do not leave messages.
Received a call from 801-432-2126 from a very fast speaking woman - asked to speak to the manager. I told her this was a church and there is no "manager" unless she wanted to speak to God. She ***g up. HA HA
Called and said she was w/ Federal Financial and that we have won a scratch card giveaway. I told her we are not interested and that her company called me two weeks ago 6/30/09 and I told them I was not interested.
I received a call from this company Federal Financial who seems to have another number they use. I have a Mia Clark from 801-285-5156. I have a case pending with the FCC and i get to a** this number as well. The call was quite strange. there seemed to be a few people speaking in another language. It took a while for me to let them hear me say*****o really loud. The call eventually disconnected. Next step it to email the FCC with this new number. Shut these people down.
Am on National Do Not Call Registry
6/2009. Telemarketer for Federal Financial Group offering scratch card promotion for qualified individules. Prize: Ford Explorer, $2,500, Flat-screen TV or vacation/cruise. Must meet with insurance/financial planner sales rep at place of your choosing. Legit but odds of scrat****g anythig other than vacation/cruise are likely very low. Do they even make Explorers anymore?Persistent but could not describe how the prize would be delivered.
The person asked for me by name, They identified themselves as so****ing financial group. When I asked who? they immediately ***g up.
I do not answer calls from Utah. Every time I have in the past it has been a car warranty scam. The caller did not leave a message.
