Same as everyone on here…wanted to build a $3m house in Bozeman MT for his family. I asked him if we could chat by phone and said he’s in the hospital. He actually sent a pic back with the signed proposal… Not sure what the end game is of the scam

He emailed our office. Similar to everyone else, has a plot of land, wants to build a house. Sent photos of the design he wants. Will wire money, but can't meet because he's wheelchair bound in the hospital.

This was via email but with this phone number attached. Same story as the others, a guy looking to have a house built on a plot of vacant land in our town. Can't meet up because he's wheelchair bound and wants us to send a proposal. Glad I checked the phone number before giving this guy any further information.

Same as everyone else here...except in Safety Harbor, FL. Even went through the trouble of sending a formal proposal. One he mentioned the surveyor and wiring money, I knew the deal. Stay Away!

Diddo $2-3M for a 3,000-3,500 SF custom home on a lot in Conway, NH he clearly does not own. Wants to wire me money to pay a surveyor whose name he won't disclose. In the hospital, blah, blah, blah. Maybe he is in the hospital being treated for a 'certain' ailment.

Same thing. Emailed and called. He said he just bought a lot in Phoenix, AZ, his budget is $3-$3.5 Mil and can’t meet in person because in hospital ???? I don’t understand this person’s end game.

Same as previous reports. Bought a lot in Boulder, CO. Looking to build a $2.5M to $3M single family home. Unable to meet in person due to recovering in hospital. Searched the phone number provided and landed here.

Same as other commenters. Buying a lot to build, in hospital, blah, blah, blah. 100% scam

Said they had a lot and gave me a specific address. Similar cost and size as others have stated here. Clearly a targeted spam for us designer/arch/builders

Sept 11, 2025 Received email looking for an architect to design a new home. Says he has a budget of $2M-$3M for a 3,000 -3,500 sf home. Cannot meet in person as he is recuperating in the hospital and confined to a wheelchair. Said he just bought a lot in *****chusetts, which was not true. Obvious scam

Same thing happened to me. Said he had 3.5 million to have me design him a house in Oregon. He said his name was Robert Wolfe.

Looking to build a 3-3.5MIL house in Englewood, CO, looks like the same exact story as the others in this list. (confined to a wheelchair, in the hospital, etc.)

Got an email saying they just bought a lot in Los Angeles and want to build $3.5M house. We've gotten similar emails. They send a fake check that will bounce. Obvious scam

Received an email asking if we do drawings. Said he had a lot in St. petersburg, FL but sent a lot in St. Augustine. All of the emails felt scammy.
