Anonymous Fraud number

Got a call from this number, pretending to be PayPal. I knew it was a scam but called back to find out if the number was active. Somebody in India answered it with "PayPal." I checked with PayPal later and they said no way was that one of theirs.

Claims to be with the police association but hangs up when asked questions

This number is from Starnet Paete. They state they are from the IRS and say a suit has been filed and an arrest warrant has been issued. I called them back asking to speak to a superior ranking offical and they hung up. I then called them back about 20 times in a row and asked how they liked being harrassed (I knew it was a scam) they hung up several times then the guy told me to stop calling but he would still call me when I told him no I would keep calling as long as he did he said "Fu$$ you and hung up. No IRS agent would say that to you..SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Richmond Resident Female calls saying she dropped her head set and keeps asking can you hear her, Are you there ,she's looking for a ("yes")then goes on about how her records show that I stayed at a resort last year. That's when I hung up. I haven't stayed at a resort in over 20 yrs and when I didn't I didn't have a cell phone then....

Phishing for a 'yes', sounds like to me. Avoid this number.

Claimed to be from a travel agency but kept asking me a yes/no answer and didn't like that I would say "yes". I would say things like "this is" and "you may ask the question". They finally hung up when I wouldn't say "yes".

This place is a pain, they have called several times. They want to renew my car warranty! When asked which car or with what company, they hang up. I have reported them to Consumer Serevices and they are aware of the problem.
