We received a call for an employee at our business and they claimed they were from the Department of Justice Back Office.  They threatened to "send people over" "sue" etc.  I let them know we are a public school and this haras*****t has been noted.  I contacted police and will keep a record if they call a***n and file harassment charges.

About two months ago, I went round and round with these guys telling them I wanted copies of the do***ents they claimed they had.  They wanted $400 TODAY to place my lawsuit "on hold" with the CA Supreme Court.  I actually got transferred to some guy who claimed he was "the manager of the company bringing the suit a***nst me."  When I asked which company that was, he responded "well, which company did you call?" I made up a name and he claimed that was his company!  I basically told him to get stuffed and they he up on me.  Two days later I got another voice mail saying that they are praying for my soul.  Wow.

I have been receiving several phone calls from a Gary through this number. I noticed that the phone that they are calling from breaks up severely. When I mentioned the Fair Credit Reporting Act to them they **** up and then they call back a***n. I am not sure where they got my information from but obviously they have hacked into personal information.

I called them to get proof and they would not give it to me. I  called them back so many times they told ME to stop calling.  This is so obviously a scam.

This just happened to me also. said they worked for steven jones in the california department of justice. gave me the 6263800420 number also. i actualy called the CA DOJ and asked about both the number and Steven Jones and was told it was not affiliated with them.They can call my cell, but my work number is what i'm concerned with. also threatened me with being sued for a payday loan company.they also had my SSN and bank info. scary!! they better not call back.

Have gotten 4 calls already this morning from this number saying I must call back or they will sue me, (for what I don't know).  They said good luck to me if I don't call back.  I know it's a scam because the same thing happened to me several months ago, which I reported them.  Yes, very heavy accent with the name Stephanie, (nice try!)

I just got a call from this number today and all threw out the whole week. so I decided to pick up the phone today and asked why they were hurassing me and I said to take me off of speaker. when he did I informed him that I already talked to a lawyer and got the fbi involved he got silent and no one was there and all of  the sudden this women got on the phone and she wanted all my infor and I said no and she said that there will be investagators at my employment and that I will be aressted and I will loose my job. so I told her see her then and she got mad and ***g up and by the way this person lives in fairmore ca... good luck too those people when they catch you... lazy people go and get a real 8 hour job and learn how to grow up.

Got numerous calls from this number.  If I had to guess, an internet payday loan company I used in the past must have sold the information I provided them to this company.  They did not say who they were, just that they are calling about serious marks to my credit score and if I do not respond they can sue me and put me in jail. I called them back a few times to inform them I know they are not a legit company and to get my number removed from their service.  The last person, Gary Bennett,  told me he is an attorney with the Dept of Justice and he has a case building a***nst me.  Also said he would have the local sheriff come find me at my place of work.  Of course I responded with I would love that opportunity and he ***g up.  I call back immediatly and spoke to Kim Anderson who only lasted around 3 minutes before ****ing up on me.  B.S. Company.  Don't let them intimidate you.Never knew people with such thick accents had such American names.

Some lady with a heavy accent called erly on a sa****ay motning stating her name was anna wilson ( an american name, but an accent so thick you could hardly make out what she was saying), saying she was an attorney and she had claims a***nst my hane and social security number, and I was told to call her back at this number and when I did, was told to hold.  Nothing more; I ***g up.

Thx! I got the same call! They threatened they would arrest me and some cash advance place that I've never heard of was suing me!!!  Scary thing is they had my social security number and knew where I bank!

called me and left a crazy message threatening  me about I don't know what and called a***n this morning leaving a 6263800420 did'nt call back look it up online and found you guys thanks

My girlfriend got the same call. They are a scam. They will not give their name, personal or corporate, or what services they provide. They want money and want your personal information such as bank account number and social security number. Please don't give them anything. Call an attorney if nervous because they threaten that if you don't give them money, you will be arrested. I spent about an hour harrassing them back. Who are they going to complain to? The guy who spoke with a thick accent finally said that his phone number was not good for me. Harrass them back. Criminals are lazy and cowards.

Someone from this number called me from this number with a heavy accent and he called my work number.  He threaten me if I do not return this call, but did not say where he was from.
