the number that is calling up on your caller id belongs to a lovely couple who have had the number for many many years.  The company that is utilizing the number is Consumer Debt Hotline and the phone number they can be reached on is 877-723-1426.  I attempted to get this solved today by talking to two separate people at this number and they do not care at all about repairing this issue.  I have placed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission in order to repair the problem.

They left me a voicemail, saying they were "calling back about our discussion last week about lowering your interest rates." So it is a telemarketer.

Number keeps calling me.  Don't know who it is, they don't leave a message.

also got bs call about lowering my rates from christine grodin with callback of 1 800 310 9982.  called back n they asked if i have any debt on my credit card.  of coourse i lied and said no and the female immediately said thank you and told me they would take my # out of their data base.that was bs... ive had  debt collectors call me looking for the wrong people before... they are a pain in the a** and dont give up that easily.. i should have said yes to see if she would then try to ask for my credit card number.  yes the caller id had a 989 which is in Michigan area code but thatt can be faked easily.   dont trust these scam artists!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep calling my cell phone day and night, no message. I'm sure it's a scam.
