KF They said they were a home security company and asked if I was the homeowner, then asked for my name and age. When they asked about my age, I distrusted them after that and just hung up. It seems shady, why would you ask age?

Rodney I received a call twice today from this number - I did not answer. I don't know anyone from the Tampa area, so I'm pretty sure these were unsolicited sales calls. I am on the DNC list.

Brian I have gotten a call twice today from this number. Both times the person was trying to sell me a home security system. My number is on the DNC list.

Collection agencies run on a dialer so the hang ups are probably because the dialer doesn't send it to a rep until you or your answering machine picks up. If they are calling you on your cell phone, tell them that they do not have permission to call you on your cell phone with the automatic dialer. You cannot stop them from calling you, but you can ensure that they will not call with automated messages. If they continue to call you on the dialer, legally you can sue them. Also, if you bill is past due and you set up a payment online, most systems do not update that information. If you made the payment online, tell the rep that calls you about the payment and they will enter it so you don't get phone calls anymore (for that due date anyways). You can also call in to them if you know it will be late and post date the payment so that it is the collection system and you won't be on the dialer. (FYI some student loans will call regardless of whether you have scheduled online or not)

Capital One. They do not keep their records straight. I do not owe anything, have made payments, have told them to check their records and stop calling but THEY DO NOT PAY ATTENTION OR DO THEIR JOBS.

No message from this number, just a hang-up call.  I do not owe Capital One anything.

I keep getting numerous calls from this number daily.  I do have a credit card but has a scheduled payment and want this junk to stop.  Calling shortly after 8am and 6-8 times a day after that.

This guy calls daily to our office and asks for one of our gals, but not by her common name.  It is Saturday and he's called 4 times today.  Will Not leave a message, his name, or a return #.

Apparently it's Sage Health (aka Sage Software Healthcare).  I signed up for information from them yesterday and just got a missed call from that number.  But it's a little ridiculous that sales reps who HAVE permission to call aren't leaving messages.

I keep receiving these calls from this number and it is Linda with Capital One and they have great opportunities for me.  I do not always answer my phone I let it go to voicemail because I have an infant at home and can't always get to it. When I have called the number back just to see what it is all about the first thing I am told to do is enter my credit card number. I am not going to do that and get scammed. I have called credit services before and and they always identify themselves and then ask for the last 4 of your social to confirm. I have always been told not to enter your number because someone is trying to get your card number. Also, I keep getting the same meesage from alot of different numbers not just this one. If there is a problem with something they should just say what it is.

This is a call from Capital One.. They continue to call my phone, even after I advised them that they were calling about my husband's credit card, and they have already advised me that they will not discuss with me, but they will not call his.  I usually get between 7-10 calls from them a day, usually starting around 8:30 am
