They call me 3-4 times a day, 9pm-8am-5pm, I filled a complaint many time with DO-NOT-CALL.COM we will see what happens , so far it's been a month and these one of a kind don't give up bothering citizens.

Did a simple over the phone survey, and they sent me $10 first then a week later $30. Called again today and said a simple booklet would be sent to fill out and then will receive more money. Didn't have to give any other info besides answer questions about what I watch.

Same here, offer to do survey for a week, sent five, crispy one's and started calling same day I received my "Diary"

Called me at 11:00 on night! Really what happened to common sense people are sleeping at this hour of the night !

Called repeatedly and when I never responded or answered they finally sent me a survey form to fill in for one week along with $5 for doing it. I have done this once in the past couple of years so did take the time to do it for one week however before the week was even up they were calling again and this time they left a message but I just ignored them as I was mailing the completed form in the next day. They are pests however and would like them to forget my number in the future.

I saw that this number 813-366-9800 is coming from TAMPA, Florida. I won't answer it anymore..

Makes calls repeatedly and lists it as "unknown caller"! There is a Panasonic phone system that can be programmed to reject calls that do not show their phone number, identification or both. Also this phone system can be programmed to reject follow up calls from the specific telephone number. I am going to purchase and program so that calls meeting my criteria will be rejected without my even hearing a ring.And this capability costs me nothing other than paying for caller identification.

This number calls me all the time and up to 9 or 10 pm every day and as early as 8 am .The party or who ever it is never leaves a message on the answering machine either.This is getting obnoxious.

If the people calling have as much trouble interpreting English as I do Spanish, it's no wonder they don't understand the phrase "Take this number off your list". I'm fed up with this outfit.

Called and asked for a household member over age 18. I told him I would not participate in survey with personal questions. Then wanted the person whose birthday was last!Told him was not at home and then wanted a name so they could call back. Identified himself as from Nielson Ratings from Florida. Didn't I just say no personal questions?! My number unpublished and unlisted!

THIS ORGANIZATION CALLS A LOT AND DOESN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE. I'M ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST AND CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE ALLOWED TO IGNORE THAT FACT. THEY CALL USING A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT TELEPHONE NUMBERS.

Hi there,For anyone else who is getting annoying calls late at night from this company, I found another blog this 800 number to call and let the representative know that you would like to be taken off their list.  I called it tonight and talked to a super sweet lady who was very apologetic and said she would have my number removed within 24 hours.  We'll see if I get any more calls..but for anyone else who is being called nightly, try calling 800-237-8611 and ask to be removed from the list.

Second time I have received this call. It is annoying.

Just who is Nielson Ratings catering to when they call a home in the United States of America and respond to Hello with a spanish version of their request for you to answer their questions? Biased? I think so. And do the operators not know the difference between Hello and Hola? I think not. And why do you have to ask the person on the phone to repeat themselves because of the broken English they use? How are you to understand them to properly answer their questions? And how correct are their 'surveys' when the person calling speaks broken English? Just how much of what you say do they really understand? If you want my time, pay me. My time is valuable. And as a citizen of the United States of America, have someone who is familiar with the English language make the call. I think they have a hidden agenda. And it is starting to show. I am not currently nor have conducted business with Nielsen TV, Nielsen Media Research. I have received both live calls and recorded message. I have requested to be added to their do not call list and yet the calls persist. I have listed complaints with the National Do Not Call Registry. However they do not resolve complaints. The complaints are added into a data base for law enforcement agencies to use if they choose.

These people call me at least three times a day. I am a night worker. They wake me up constantly. This gas been going on for at least a month. How do I stop them ?

I have no idea why these people are calling me up to 5 times a day. I don't have caller id, so I can't screen the calls. I can only check the number that has called me by pushing *69 to hear the number and it is always this same number. Sometimes, they don't say anything and then hang up.

They actually sent me a post card notifing me that they would be calling cause my hosehold was selected for this survey.THIS IS A BUSINESS AND NOT A HOUSEHOLD! I have caller I.D and kept letting them call and wouldn't answer it, after a few weeks I couldn't take it anymore and answered the phone.Once they knew they called a business they appologized and hung up! ANSWER THE PHONE "ABC PIZZA" or something like that AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY! What have you got to loose.

My friend works there. It is Nielsen Tv Ratings and they are exempt from do not call lists because they do not sell anything. To be removed from the calling list you must say the magic words, "Take me off your list" almost any other response, including, "I'm on the do not call list" will generate a call back. It's Nielsen Ratings. They are legit. I thought it was a crud call but went ahead and answered it one day. They asked if we would write down what we'd watch on TV for a week. We said ok THEN they mentioned they'd pay us 30 dollars for doing it. Several days later, they sent us all the info we needed plus 30 dollars cash. We were expecting a check so the cash was a nice surprise. My opinion? The calls may be annoying it but answer it, agree to do the test and see if they say they'll pay  you. It is worth the 30 bucks.

In addition, when I tried to call them back to finally give them a piece of my mind, the number that comes up on my caller id belongs to some poor guy named Jeff, who says he gets 10 to 20 of these calls every day. Seems from my area code (585), when you dial their #, you get somebody's residence. Sounds slighlty less than legal, yes?
