This caller keeps calling my minor child's cell phone. I have asked them to take the number out of their system multiple times and have been ignore. This is a telemarketer selling home security systems.

spam! so i just registered my number on some website so spammers can't call anymore.... worked so far cross my fingers...

i got this call on my new phone. bought it at wal mart, but added it to an existing carrier account. not new service, but 10-year-old account. i too tried to call it back after blocking my number. got "your call cannot be completed as dialed" and a fast busy signal when i tried again. i see it's a tampa, fl based number. they call every day. i wish we could reverse these calls so that THEY get charged every time they bother us!

I recommend having a child's whistle handy & when they call again...blow it long and hard!!! Worked for me! Pretty sure the caller is now wearing a hearing aid! LOL

Tired of these call!

I received a call from this phone number on my cell phone. Thankfully, my cell phone has bad reception where I am located during the day, so I could not make out what they were saying. After I hung up and tried to call this number on a land-line I would get nothing but I busy signal. What I could make out from the call sounded as if they wanted me to purchase something. Seeing the comments below, in regards to this phone number appears this is a on going problem.

They keep calling... We tell them not to call this number.. they don't stop calling. They are asking if we have a home security system.. What kind of a question is that?!?!?!? Yes.. I have a security system.. and dogs, and guns, and will shoot to kill anyone who intruder. How do we get these calls to stop?!?

Blogs I've read indicate it's a Home Security System wanting to install a system in your house. I already have a security system called a .44 Magnum, Model 29, Smith & Wesson like Dirty Harry used in the movies. This is same phone number that called us back on 06/15/12 @ 11:45 AM. They didn't leave a message on that call either. Tampa, Florida is a scammers haven and most such calls come from that area. I've already submitted two pages of Scammer Calls on a log I'm keeping. Like has been mentioned, it was some home security company, although I couldn't understand the name of the company. A couple funny things happened that I thought I'd share: - Phone was answered with "Hello?" - When I mentioned I saw the number on caller id and decided to call number to find out who it is, and asked who I was speaking to, the woman said "Oh, this is Ellie." who immediately kicked into "shpeel mode."
