Got a call at 6:17 pm (dinnertime). Caller identified himself as from this pest control co, said they'd be in my neighborhood tomorrow & wanted to give me an estimate. I told him that I'm on the Do Not Call Registry, I have an unlisted number, I do NOT wish to receive sales phone calls, and to not call me. Caller argued, said he could call anyone he wanted to since they collect no money over the phone, then he PROCEEDED with his sales pitch anyway, saying he could offer 40% discount blah etc. I asked him to stop, telling him he was violating the law by continuing the call. He got angry and said, "Well, if that's how you want to be! We're just offering a service and a chance at a deal." Afterward, I looked them up. They have a history of disregarding Do Not Call registry and making telemarketing to everyone in blatant violation of law. I reported them to the Do Not Call Registry. If you get a call from them, please report them too, so they can finally be fined as they deserve to.
