Steve Caller ID said local calling area but 814 is in Pennsylvania. Called back and was given option to be added to their do not call list. Was told it would take 72 hours and I might get another call before then if I was on an active list.

Got a call asking for the owner of the company. Very noisy in the background. She didnt pass the "He's in a meeting right now. Would you like his voicemail?" test.

I think this is an outfit called Progressive Business Publications.  They publish worthless little business periodicals to "keep you up to date" on stuff like payroll, A/P, HR, etc.They desperately try to wear you down into agreeing to take a few free copies, after which you can cancel with no further obligation.  But good luck trying to get them cancelled.  They then send you a bill, claiming they have no record of your cancellation attempt, and try to bully you into paying up.If they call you, there is no use trying to say no, because they will keep you on the phone all day trying to defeat every argument you have for not needing their publication.  The best thing to do is just say "thanks for calling" and **** up.Another trick they will try is if they get the name of any of your employees, even the janitor, they will try to claim that person authorized delivery.
